Turn it on
If I do it now and any parts are wet though, it is dead.

Clap clap clap.
What phone was it?
It was a cheap-o Samsung Replenish. I was planning on replacing this phone with a Galaxy S4 very soon, but until I can get to the Sprint Store, I'm very limited.

I left my cellular telephone in my jeans and it went through the wash. Since then it has been in a cup full of rice with a big silica gel pack. It has been sitting there for almost two days, and while it has lost visible traces of being wet, I don't want to try and fire it up if it is still wet inside. What would you guys say would be the appropriate time to take it out?. I might be able to take it apart further and dry it more also.

These are the actual necks that I would buy if I were to.

Or

Rosewood looks better, but not because of the wood, i like it because it has that nice brown color on the stem
(im not a guitar person)
Like the wood grain or just how dark it is?

I've been thinking of getting a new neck for my Jazz Bass, because the fretwork on my old one is awful.

I need an appearance opinion though.

note that the body color is the same as the one I currently have which is why they are both transparent.

The Political US has been a stuff sack since the election of Franklin Roosevelt. He introduced Social Security and therefore is pretty much the father of modern socialism in the US.

I'm really on the fence about adblock. I never used it until youtube started having ads with volume that would pop out of nowhere. That got really loving annoying really quick. I never take the time to disable it for other sites unless I need to do it to see content. But I've never sympathized with those that bitched and moaned about websites having ads. I've kind of been hoping that eventually websites are able to get around adblocker.
It's all the people that do use adblock that requires google to increase advertising.

They should make it a felony offense like drunk driver if the driver injuries someone while texting and driving. A misdemeanor offense if no one is hurt, but the driver is caught texting.
Reckless Driving should be Reckless Driving, there shouldn't be intensifiers just because something isn't politically correct or because of what it caused. I could be just as distracted finding my favorite CD. And whatever it caused should be a seperate charge.

Ok, so, I pinged an outside address with no success, and I tried configuring an ip manually without DHCP, but I still have no results.

There are procedures to have the herniated part of your disc removed.

I don't know if you can put that on an insurance claim though.

Take the non-richard route and give it back, even good flash drives are only worth $20, by keeping it you only look like a douche.

Off Topic / Network Problem
« on: November 20, 2013, 03:13:10 PM »
As you may know from the last few topics I posted, I am running SUSE on multiple computers now, but one laptop in particular is giving me problems.

Whenever I try to connect to the internet on this computer, it connects to the network, but I can't access the internet. I pinged both the adapter and the default gateway of my network, and I have success doing both, but I still can't go on the internet.

This also happens when I connect it to the network via Ethernet.

My Alg. 2 teacher is somewhat tightly wound when it comes to homework, but I don't necessarily mind because if it is easy it gets done fast and if it doesn't I should probably be doing it anyways.

« on: November 19, 2013, 06:04:40 PM »
Still with Manjaro. What's the advantage of having SUSE?
It's not Ubuntu.

But seriously I went with SUSE because it has been around for a long time (more support) and because it was the most stable and fluid operating systems I have tried so far. Also, I have a relative who's job is managing servers running Red Hat, which is very similar to SUSE, so if I'm having problems I can bug him on facebook.

I've never tried OpenSUSE
Whats new about it?
nothing mega new is being introduced, but it should be overall much faster and easier to use, which is good because I am installing it on mostly legacy systems.

The only thing about SUSE that could be considered a negative is that you have to make all partitions manually during installation, which is really easy, but if someone didn't know what a SWAP partition was or something like that it could be pretty intimidating.
