I would suggest a Roland Cube 20xlInteresting. I'll also take this into consideration for sure.
It has both Clean and Lead channels, a built-in tuner, aux input (To plug in your mp3 player), recording/headphone output, a foot pedal input (For switching between channels, effects). It also has Reverb, Chorus, Delay, Spring (?), Heavy Octave, Phaser, Flanger, Tremelo and Solo settings/fx. It also has 5 different distortion settings (along with an acoustic simulation setting), a gain control and 3 equalizer knobs.
Oh, and also a power squeezer switch.
Not to mention it sounds great and is totally worth the money.
This guy can probably sell it to your for $110/$120, I bought it for $125 from him when he was selling it for $150.
But then again, the Roland Cube 20XL is the only quality amp I've owned thus far. So there might be better amps out there for your money, but I don't know.
I was going to suggest something in Fender's Mustang series.Mustang I looks like something my dad could agree on. It also has a forgetton of lovey tones, like a Rotary.

I have a Mustang III and it's great

2005.I'm pretty sure they filmed Lord of the Rings in '05.
You call that loving state of the art animation in 2005? They had better loving animation in 1995
