Stop talking. Just stop talking.

Every time there's even a semi-political conversation going on, you come in and spout stuff that you barely even understand. You are 13. You have never had a job. You have no loving idea or perspective on how hard it is to just, "get a new job".

All you're doing is repeating the same stuff you probably hear your parents say.
I'm not repeating things my parents say. I am making an intelligent post using logic that I have researched on my own time. If you don't want a free market go stand in the toilet paper line.

There's only one problem with that.
Boy Scouts are sitting on a hill. Their position is impregnable. At this point, no group could surpass them without a complete reversal in the tides.

I guess you guys are right, but at the same time it's wrong. Monopolies are bad.
We live in a mostly free market. If there were a strong enough desire to create something different off of the Boy Scouts, then it would be done.

Look at the Phone market. AT&T used to be a monopoly, now there are tons of choices, you can have sprint or Verizon or Cingular or Virgin Mobile.

How is a private enterprise allowed to discriminate against qualities that are simply a matter of opinion? That's as bad as not letting black people participate.

Actually, I want to see the statistic for number of black and white kids now.
Like I said in another topic

Private companies should be allowed to treat customers and employees how they like, only the government should have to treat everyone equally.

If you work are part of for Acme Co. Boy Scouts of America and you don't think you're being treated equally, it's that companies The Boy Scouts of America's loss because now you're probably going to work for Be part of someone something else who that would treat you fairly.

You don't need a law for this stuff.

It says nothing about religion. Regardless, it doesn't seem right to exempt people from learning skills just because they don't believe a specific god.
They're a private enterprise, and can do what they like regarding this.

If that person does worse at their job for any reason then I wouldn't pay them as much as a person doing it better than them.
But I wouldn't immediately assume that all women will be worse than men so by default I will pay them less, because maaaaybe they aren't as good as men at doing it.

And when we're talking about jobs in businesses and offices and such, there's even less reason to assume a woman is less equipped for the job than a man.
They won't be doing heavy lifting in an office. I can't just assume that the generally physically weaker woman will be worse than the generally physically stronger man and typing on a computer and filing paperwork.
You're theory is well intended, but easily abusable. The current american legal system works in a flawed way, so that the loser of a court case does not have to pay the legal expenses of the winner. keep this in mind. Say I am an employer, and you are a female looking for a job. If I employed you and paid you less based on work, you might sue under this equality law, saying that I was being discriminative of your gender. This may not be fact, but you have sued me. You will probably lose, but under this system I still owe my lawyer for defending a pointless case. Now, I am drowned in legal expenses and might have to close down. That is the fear of employers under this law. They call people like this "Lawsuit Bombs" because of this. Not every single female is like this, no sir, but the ones who are like this scare everyone else out of hiring all of them.

And now more females would be out of work.

We must all agree that this senator is absolutely handicapped though.
