Someone who gets laid off can apply for unemployment and hopefully last until he/she can get a new job. On the other hand, we have plenty of alcoholics and crackheads that just sit at home and waste all their welfare money on drugs.My argument, is that, before the days of Government Welfare (pre-1947) there were also poor people and disabled people and others of the like, and things like charities and churches ran the show. They helped most everyone who was actually disabled or ran out. they didn't get everyone, but that is still better than having so many people clog up the welfare system that the truly disabled hardly get anything because of lazy people who abuse the system.
Interpret that how you like, I'm not trying to force anything.

I forget who this belonged to, but there was a really nice trench TDM around a while ago that was extremely balanced and fun. I spent hours playing there and it was near always populated.
