i bet you're not using a dvd. It's a 700MB CD, not a DVD, and Puppy Linux requires 131MB of space. Sorry for not clarifying in the OP. Also, I'm going to try it on a flash drive real quick.
you need to have the space.
Then use a CD-burning program to burn the ISO image slowly to a CD or DVD disc (4X is recommended for CD and 1X for DVD).Ahhh, I missed that. I'm going to try that now.
Lighter, furnace, flamethrower.Oh ho ho ho, I didn't see that coming from loving outer space.
Press F12Tried that too. It looks like it would be making progress, but then i just get Windows.
Select CD/DVD Drive or the name of your drive, depending on motherboard
???
Boot!
Okay, he says that he'll probably just leave the specs as they are. He'd rather not mess it up. He's not a big fan of Linux either.Oh. Alrighty. I'd just ask him what he want's to keep and trash the rest if it's running slow.
So, I think he basically wants to stay on XP. :u
More like Puppy LinuxFancy, I might try that just for fun.
That thing will run on everything. Plus Simple too
I'll ask him if he's tried it. He says he has used Linux, but not very much to have any notable experience with it.Link now provided. Anyways, is there any way you could upgrade any specs? Like maybe a whole GB of RAM if it can support that. I'm not saying dig super deep, but even Windows 98 suggests you have 512MB of RAM.
