Part of the reason it will be hard to legalize Marijuana is of lobbying Paper companies. Hemp is much cheaper and can be used to make equal quality paper. The Declaration of Independence and the Constitution were both written on hemp paper. You could also make much better ropes out of it too. But lobbyists don't like that, so congressmen don't like it.

Well, If that's what it's really worth, than that's what it's really worth. I'm not saying that there wouldn't be an economic repercussion, I'm just saying it wouldn't really be a bad thing.

The price is artificially inflated because it is illegal. This would only bring it down to a competitive price set by the market.
