I will assure you this will change after becoming El Presidente when the people's revolution is over.
I have yet to see a thread you post in where you aren't making inflammatory remarks and spouting nonsensical quasi-political gibberish. Would you kindly stop?

Would have to agree with this and harm. I mean, I'm not here to come in and take cheap shots at your personal life, but I do have a few things to say
It comes down to the person. Some homeschoolers are social outcasts and freaks, others aren't. But arguing that homeschooling will always turn you into an outcast is silly. I admit that it's not a perfect system, and that it has it's downsides, but homeschooling has worked for me. As I said, it comes down to the person. Some people benefit from it, others don't, and it's not always the best option. It's not always the worst either. Every schooling method has some downsides and advantages, and hating on someone for being homeschooled is just silly, just as hating someone for not being is.

children who are autistic or challenged can benefit from homeschooling
Yes, this is true.

being allowed to get up whenever you want?
that'll make you lazy
and, iirc, many (many! not all! I know there are different types of programs for it) homeschooled kids depend on their parents for teaching, and for most other things too
Oh boy! Children being dependent on their parents! Spot the presses, this is crazy!

Also, sarcasm aside, most homeschoolers (the ones I know anyway) have a set start and end time.

lol at the people arguing about which type if school is better It's about the same if you ask me, just different learning styles. Also, having a 2-4 hour school day and getting up when ever you want is more of a pleasure, not a benefit.

Advantages of going to school(for those who live in the real world and not in their bedroom)
  • Developing communication skills
I do that all the time, I still have friends silly
  • A chance to form relationships
See above
  • Public school is free
And for the most part, so is homeschooling
  • A chance to find a career path
I don't see how homeschooling harms your career
  • You can get introduced to colleges that might fit your tastes
The same can be done whilst homeschooled
  • Gets you ready for a employment, After all you need to work to put food on the table and a work day is usually 8 hours. So does homeschooling, I'm taking camps and classes for what I want to do with my life. Being homeschooled doesn't hurt me here.

I think that you have know clue what you're talking about. Most of your points assume that all homeschoolers are social outcasts who live in their bedroom.

I'm homeschooled, I'm not awkward at all. My mom was a high school teacher, so my education is going great. I was pulled from the public system after 1st grade, went to a private school for 5 years, and now I'm homeschooled. The public schools in my area have no funding and poor teachers. I'm also quite precocious, so the specialized education works well.

So we can all agree freedom of speech is good? Good.

Agreed

24
I absolutely don't hate you. No sarcasm. I respect your opinion despite the extremely aggressive debate. I wish you luck.
Thank you, and the same.

25
Your hilarious. You're the one getting taught but you're still kicking. I applaud your resolve, sir.

My resolve is done. I surrender, I can't win the argument because you won't back off. So I will continue on with my life and you can do the same. I hope that in the future we can all live in a country that supports our own views. You in a place where peace and order is kept through civilian armament, and I in one where happiness and peace is enforced by logic and social balance. You can be an American, and I can be a Communist. Maybe it'll work this time, you never know. I just hope you don't hate me for working for a different goal.

But will not arming them help? No, it won't.
Fists and choking can kill, too.
I get that it won't end violence. But you can't argue that guns prevent violence, the logic and the numbers are on my side.

27
You can't tell millions of people that they can have guns, then just take them away. They've tried to take our guns away before, so we shot them.
FOR THE LAST TIME, I'M NOT SAYING TAKE AWAY ALL THE GUNS.

I'm advocating stricter laws, and denouncing gun-culture.

And apparently giving you guys a history lesson.

28
Trust me, there will never be a perfect world. The muslims will never stop fighting with the jews. It's a religious battle.
But will arming them help? No, it won't.

29
And so do we. Human nature hasn't changed. But you like any die-hard modernist would like to think they have.
Not really, we aren't at war with another nation. The serfs living in Byzantium had limited access to weapons, and they rarely dealt with domestic violence.

30
But this isn't a perfect world, and there's gonna be violence.
Maybe if we tried, we could make one, that's the whole point I'm trying to make. If we quit presuming the worst and just try?
