i think there's a certain point where there's overkill. I could use a quad or hex-core instead of my lameass x2 and a better PSU but I don't need 32 chuckleloving gigabytes of ram or more processor cores than I can count on my fingers
not sure how much 32 chuckleloving GB of ram costs, but you can get 32GB for only ~$300
