I finally set-up my server rack that I got my hands on a long time ago. I'm not sure on the specs yet but I know it has two terabytes of hard drive space (Two 1gig Drives), 20gigs of ram, and two dual core processors. (It's also loud as balls.)
So I got it running on Windows 7 (64Bit) Professional because I'm too poor for Windows Server. So far I've only got it to read one of the two drives and there's no video drivers that support my O/S. So I'm stuck in basic mode but it's tolerable since it's just for hosting my game servers and stuff.
Right now I have a ghetto set-up consisting of two stools placed next to each other to suspend the server rack. On top of the rack is my monitor, keyboard, and mouse (totally safe right?). Next to the server rack is another stool in which I use as my seat.
So far I've only been able to set-up a static IP and get some essentials on the rig.
P.S. I got like three fans running in my room and it's like 50 degrees. Server Room Simulation Go!

I'm glad you can google and click the first few links but that's not what I've meant.
I've already done a pretty thorough search on Java tutorials and examples. I was hoping if anyone knew of some forums or community based sites that share content. I'm more of a visual learner. If I can see the code and the product then I can decipher as to what the syntax does.

Off Topic / Netbeans - Java (Requesting Help)

Well before I get to the subject I'll give you guys a small update. School has been frustrating but very productive. In my video game design class I was assigned a group of ten people since we were considered the best in the class to produce a game on World War II with a month deadline. What we created was a barely functional third person shooter, regardless we still got a lot done.
Now I'm beginning my Junior year in which we'll be given three periods dedicated to game design.
- 3D Animation II
- Video Game Design II
- Video Game Lab
As of now, the teacher has requested that I along with a few other top students are to learn Java over the summer so we can avoid his lectures and do our own thing. So far I haven't been very productive and I've been busy tackling more "important manners". *cough* Dark Souls *cough*
Finally I decided to download Netbeans as well as some PDFs to get started. I'm having a hard time getting acquainted with Java since Javascript is structured differently. The only reference I have to remotely compare Java to is C# and even then I'm really bad with both languages.
If anyone has good tutorials or could even teach me themselves, I'd greatly appreciate it.
