Russian and TomTheGeek alerted me of this topic and I decided to post.

I'm still a Sophomore and I'm taking multiple video game design classes and learning Java, C#, C++, and other various languages. I've also been learning Maya and other advanced 3D animation programs.

Haven't really had time to hang around the forums let alone just enjoy myself and play games.

I'm actually in a position at the moment for getting an internship. Hopefully everything goes well.

Jesus christ that takes forever to load for me.

It's basically streaming the game to you. It's about 16 mbs. If your internet is slow then well, it'll obviously take a long time ot load.

it ran really slowly for me, like reaaally slowly

i didn't have that much of a delay between button presses and actual movement when i played onlive games

The game may not be optimized well but it has to do with your computer's specs too.

Really slow, had to close Chrome, but the art looks nice, Nick.

Good job, the first second I heard the voice I already closed the tab. What you did is a nice achievement.

I somehow managed to make it through the entire video.

It seemed to run rather slowly, but there were no sudden jumps or stutters in the game. Looks epic so far.

Thanks. It seems like optimization is definitely a priority. I'm doing all I can to help increase the frame rate.

I can't see what is hurting me. Everything is so loving dark.

the whole point is that he won't have to refresh his page. these are bugs that need fixing, not workarounds.

That's not an issue on my part. That's part of the game engine that I can't manipulate. The only way TO FIX it is to refresh the page and hope for win.

I'm working on optimizing. I'm currently merging vertices on the alien model to lower the poly count.

I'll be honest, it lags to stuff on my system.
Seriously, I may have no graphics card but I can play STALKER Call of Pripyat with minimal FPS drops, this just plays at a constant 2-4 FPS, even on the title screen.

You've got some serious optimization to do

I know. I've been working on that which is why I recently adding occlusion culling. I plan on re-doing the alien scorpion things' model to lower the poly count.

Still I've sent it to quite a few people with meh computers and they ran it just fine.

send me the blend file of your player mesh so I can play with it.

Is it meant to be all like fuzzy colour things everywhere or is it just my computer because it hurt my brain :c

Might be some of the post-processing effects I added like Bloom and RGB Curve Color Correction.

Basically three four days worth of work put into this.

Now go forth and test! Also the boss' model is just a placeholder. It's not a giant capsule. >:V

I'll add standalone versions once this reaches beta or if a lot of people demand it. Also this isn't just bug testing, feel free to shoot feedback and suggestions.
