But thats almost 50% of off-topic.

Irony. Hue.

No but seriously you could have just started posting again then we would have noticed your return. You didn't have to dedicate an entire thread to yourself you egotistical bastard.

You were banned? Lol.

Unnecessary topic is unnecessary.

Enjoy your second ban.

I can only understand a tiny bit of Python, a littttlllleee bit of Torque, and a little about Java.

Hue Python. No but seriously, what uses python other than Blender?

Anyways does Game Maker use action script? I forgot but I do know how to code in whatever the hell language GM uses. I also know C# and I'm learning C++. I also took a bit of HTML but the CSS side of it pissed me off.

I think it has a map maker in it, along with other stuffs

Yeah it's more of a modding software like Source SDK. He's looking for build by scratch games.

Costs a lot. :C

Then stick with Game Maker. I can do the advanced coding for you and provide models. Well not at the moment cause i'm already working on a 2D platformer shooter and it looks very lovey. :D

CryEditor or whatever it's called

Isn't that a map editor? Derp-a-derp?

To make this easier, I want to make something have somewhat the graphics like in Dead Frontier, but first person and stuff.

Graphics isn't a lot to go by. Any engine can support good graphics as long as if the computer can handle them. Also like I said, Torque Engine.

Also if you still don't want to use GM I recommend Torque Engine. It's pretty dam outdated and sells for a lot but it gets the job done. I want it but I'm not paying 300+ dollars for that engine.

Game maker 8 Pro

God you're stupid.

I'm not much of a coder, so it would be a little complicated.

Yeah it's a bit tricky. You can actually use bump mapping in Game Maker instead of linedefs but I'm not quite sure how to.

You can easily make 3D games in Game Maker. Problem is Game Maker can't render a lot of TRUE 3D models and their collision isn't the most accurate. If you know how to code properly though, it's possible.

1. Are there any special look for zombie?
2. how big/small can the sprites be?
3. How can i animate?

Are you making in GM8?

1. Doesn't really matter. Suprise me.
2. Can be any size but preferably pretty small. Just base it off the size of the machine gun.
3. Don't worry about putting it in a .gif. Just make multiple pngs or something.

Yes but I'm mostly using hard code and not events.

you know you can ask me to leave nicely

Please leave nicely you motherloving starfish.

Well I'm working on a platform shooter and I already coded a majority of the game. What's really holding me back is my crappy drawing skills. I was able to make some decent player and weapon sprites but I'm still lacking the resources I need.

If you do help me out you will be given full credit to the sprites and access to the early beta.

Here's what I need...

Zombie Sprite
- Walking animation (Only has to be facing one way. I can always mirror the image.)
More Than 5 Frames And Less Than 15
- Attacking Animation (Once again, can only be facing one way. The attacking animation can be from anywhere from clawing to biting.)
More Than 3 Frames And Less Than 10
- Death Animation (Multiple death animations would greatly be appreciated!)
More Than 5 Frames And Less Than 15

Shell Casing
- Self explanatory. Doesn't need any frames. Just a solid sprite that I can rotate and scale.

GUI Bullet Casing
- GUI sprite that'll be rendered next to your ammo count.

City Sprites
- Go crazy. No real restrictions, I can always resize. The theme is a dark modern day city that's been ravaged by an infection.

Also no screenies yet because there's not much to really look at. I'll link one of my gun sprites though if you're curious.
