I see. Well I don't have money right now so I guess that's out of the question. Well I guess I'm pretty much screwed but I'll leave this thread unlocked just in case someone comes up with a brilliant idea.

Yeah.

And clearly there isn't.

Only like three people have made suggestions. So you're saying I should lock this because three people's methods won't work? :/

Then stop whining about it or get some S-Video to USB2.0 thing.

That's just it. I'm asking the community if they know if I can do it any other way without spending money.

Then put the game on your laptop.

That was what was being said. :l

Yes but my laptop lags too when I play Dead Rising 2 and stream at the same time. The tri core is only 2.1ghz. I couldn't do it vise versa either because my laptop doesn't have svideo. Derp.

And the capture won't?

You're being a complete moron, you know that.

No because the capturing will be done through my laptop so it'll use my laptop's processor not my desktop. It's kinda like recording console games.

Oh, for some reason you want to record something from one computer to another when you can:

which doesnt need svideo, just a screencap :I

I KNOW! I don't want to do a direct record because it rapes my CPU! TRY READING OP FOR THE LAST FREAKING TIME!!!

Because laptops aren't computers?

I like how you didn't read OP.

:l

Why do you need SVideo for Dazzle?

You don't.

Unless for some reason your dazzle uses that and not usb.  :cookieMonster:

No I want the recording end going to my desktop not the loving receiving end. TRY READING OP AGAIN.

your funny :P

I like how you persist to stalk this thread and make yourself look like a bigger douchebag. Why don't you stop wasting your time and see if you can actually get into another clan? There's plenty of fish in the sea as one may say.

You used my idea! c: anyway, just get a cheap extra video card that supports svideo.

Then I won't be able to run dead rising 2. :/

I'm pretty sure you can get the dazzle driver at the pinnacle website.

If that's not what you need, you don't need Pinnacle Video Studio to use Dazzle.

You can use any program that can get video from a source.

List of Pinnacle drivers with downloads:

http://cdn.pinnaclesys.com/SupportFiles/Hardware_Installer/readmeHW10.htm

Try reading OP.

Why not transfer the Dead Rising 2 onto your laptop?

I already have but my laptop doesn't have svideo either.

I don't think you CAN without money unless you want to get something stuffty and free.

Fuuuu-

Is there anyway I can do a direct connection with USB cables or something? I really doubt it. If so is there any software that would be able to read that?

Get a capture card that supports HDMI and/or DVI and/or VGA and/or Display port? (whatever your desktop monitor uses)

Without spending more money? D:

Yes, but this.

Oh lol why did I never see this video? Anyways just because he's a kickass video maker doesn't really give him the right to voice the opinion of the community.

It was really good at first but the ending was pretty crappy.

Overall it was decent.
