taxes would make it possible to have losses, so players would have to actively bring money in. stalemated companies would slowly go out of business. not something I necessarily want, but I think that's the reason people want them.

I think that the 6-8 week range is a good idea, instead of Wesley's suggestion. some people are going to dominate the market, that's a given. a few players are going to play the game a lot and be undeniable giants... if Mr Wallet just put them out of business so that new ones could flourish, what's the point of being top dog if you could just go out business?


I still think that a DM arena would be easy to set up; just make a /dm command that gives players a weapon and new spawn point. maybe a (very) low reward for killing other players

if you're going to make a reward for killing players, please take into account that some people are going to try to farm money by letting each other kill get free kills, free money. this is where the betting idea could be used, I think it would be really fun



what if, if you do make a DM aspect, players could buy better guns? this would give money another use, and would make betting on fights more interesting

I got a tingly feeling in my nuts when I saw this topic... rise of blockland is still one of the best servers I've ever played, I really hope you bring it back

If you played Rise of Blockland:
What features did you find most engaging/fun?
     buying all of one resource then selling it back at ridiculous prices, I also agree with MrC in that automatically creating resources is soooo much nicer than grinding (although I'll grind on you for a couple bucks)

What features did you find most boring/frustrating?
     people belligerently setting their prices $1 below yours, even if it means losing money- a problem with players, not the mod. lack of an end goal, or something to strive for, was also an issue. I can't think of any other use for money, I just felt that I was making money so I could make more money, an endless cycle

What experiences gave you good feelings while on the server? Feel free to speak generally or tell specific stories as it suits you.
     I liked the costly nature of building, it made people build efficiently and carefully. I also had a lot of fun using my alts to gain an unfair advantage through the rating system and making super cheap production cites to fuel my main business... you might want to look into preventing this, it was super unfair

What experiences gave you bad feelings while on the server?
     same as #2, and all the guys with awesome lot spots (at the center of town) who didn't play anymore. now that I think about it, I might remember some sort of foreclosure process, but it's been a while

What did you always wish had been a part of RoB, but never got to see as a reality?
     I really wanted more crime, maybe producing drugs or something of the like... just some sort of quick but risky route to riches

What would you most hope to see if RoB were brought back?
     I think that a deathmatch arena would be pretty cool, maybe setting bets on fights. There just isn't a lot to do why you're out of stock and waiting to produce some more

This server is singlehandedly the most addictive one I've ever played on blockland, I really hope you bring it back

oh come on Pass, SPO is a joke. would you stop trying to bash other clans just to make yourself feel better? you and Furdle both have become (at least openly) very narcissistic in thinking that the two of you can do no wrong, and that your opinions are right. aside from that, the only two people I've seen to have any active part in SPO are yourself and Furdle.

maybe I'm incorrect and everyone in SPO work on projects together, but if so it only further proves how little a clan outsider, such as yourself compared to Cohort, knows about inner workings of a clan

I hope that you soon realize how conceited you are, and that you don't continue to be a little bitch- which you seem to have taken to lately

From what you've presented, it looks mediocre. Nothing special, nothing new. I hope that you bring new ideas into it; I can't count how many times I've seen a cabin in the woods.


I still lag on blockland... I always find it funny when people are condescending towards those with slow computers, as if to imply that computer games are of the utmost importance and that money is best put towards sitting on your ass for hours on end. I am glad to say that I'm getting a new computer as a graduation gift, and will soon be jeering and the toaster players along with everyone else =D

In any case, trees have the tendency to blow the brickcount up immensely and it's very easy to hit the limit if you're not paying attention. Elm's (or phydeux's?) trees do look nice in this setting, which makes a nice change.

the culdesac looks like it could be rounded out a little bit, try googling "circle generator" for a template if you want one


i didn't think that i would, but i agree 100% with the people telling you to branch out. i've only seen a few houses you've made, and they all use the same patterns and styles- the minor variations are insignificant. the only people you're impressing with your houses are those who build pixel art. as for what to build... come on, it can't be that hard to find something. make a little pirate fort, a moon base, a mayan temple in the depths of hell

Work on a project, join a clan, make something which isn't an american middle class modern home.
none of those responses are things to make...
