Well, as you know, I have made at least 7 forum adventures that all, well, failed. I want to conduct a survey to perfect my forum adventures.


1. Do you want me to make another Forum Roleplay/Adventure?

2. What type of Forum Adventure/Roleplay do you prefer?

3. What time zone do you prefer? E.g. Future, Present, etc, please be specific!

4. What setting do you prefer? E.G. A Civil War, Apocalypse, please be specific!

5. Do you prefer text roleplays, or things like MSFTMM?

SimCity 3000 and SimCity 4 are both fun and realistic city simulator games. You basically either play scenarios of cities that are in dire need of a good mayor, or you can make a new metropolis of your own!

Gameplay
There are several things that you use to build your city, and that consists of things such as Roads, Highways, Bridges, Industrial, Commercial, and residential zones and such. There are also several factors that affect your city growth, you will need to supply your sims with water and power, protect them with police stations, and more. You can also cause disasters to destroy the city and stuff.

Off Topic / Concept for a video game

It will take place during the height of the Second American Civil War, in an unknown date in the far future, and the game would start off in a military airforce base under siege in West Virginia. Most of the country has been decimated by the war that has gone on for two raging years, bringing an end to 1.2 million lives so far. The enemy of the character's side, some region of the U.S. that is attempting to secede from the U.S. after a trade embargo from pretty much the world. With America failing economically and politically, the U.S. government has split into two, calling themselves from the first Civil War about 250 years ago, The Confederate States of America. So, back to what the game starts out as. the CSA is attacking the air force base you are in, but you caught the last helicopter out of there before the attack. So during the sleeting rain, you see about 1,500 confederates charge towards the base, and then you fly over a mountain, out of sight.

The gameplay would be like Fallout's, but with more realistic NPC damage, and different weapons. It would take place in three main areas, the Boston area, the Richmond, VA area, and Los Angeles. Of course there would be other cities that you need to help defend, and you can choose if you do or not. Most of the game would take place in LA, since that is the capital of the CSA. There would also be dynamic and random attacks on cities, and that can effectively turn the tide of the war. Say, the CSA captures a manufacturing city and holds it. The army around you will have not as good supplies, and same with food, water, etc. which you will need to survive. Also, there is a dynamic map of the U.S. that shows what the CSA has taken and the USA has taken, and that is all based on which battles have been won. The size of the two armies in battle will also vary and be randomized, or if a major military installation was taken, the next attack would consist of less soldiers and supplies for that one army.

Alright, here is the dealio. I used to play this game a LONG time ago, and I recently remembered it on a quest to find games to play on my stuffty computer. This game is called pawn.

You can make your own maps and play on it and stuff, and play on default maps, you also need to earn kills to buy guns.

Off Topic / School, I am dissapoint

We had to do a utopian society city project in school, and it was hilariously easy. When I presented it, though, I made several blatant references that NO ONE in my school got, except one of them who owns steam and stuff. Here are some.

-My society was called, "New New York", an obvious reference to Futurama, along with a picture of it, which you can look at, here.

-I named our currency Nuka Cola caps, along with a picture of it, a reference to the Fallout series.

-For our transportation I put a picture of a Half Life 2 razor train.

-For our jobs, I put a picture of the TF2 engineer, no one got it.

-I put a picture of the A-10 Thunderbolt, and everyone moaned and said I got that from Call of Duty. What the hell? I don't even think it was in call of duty!

Forum Games / Locksburg Community City - SimCity 3000 unlimited

What is this?
This is a community project based on building a city in SimCity 3000. There are resources not included ingame that I will explain:

Lumber: Needed to build buildings. Different buildings will cost more lumber, you can get lumber by building a lumber mill.

There will be more once I think of it, but for now, let's start. Here are the resources:

Money: 35,000
Population: 0
Lumber: 10,000
Date: 2/10/1900


Now, where shall we build our main road?

Off Topic / SimCity 3000 Unlimited crashes on start new city

Whenever I try to start a new city on SimCity 3000, the loading bar goes up about 2/3 of the way, and the game crashes. I know this PC can run it, since the game is from like, 1999.

I googled the problem, but nothing of helpfulness came up. Any solutions?


Also, if you want to comment on the game, don't do it here.

I am currently trying to download games on Steam for my PC, but it says download paused, and whenever I try to resume it or redownload it, it just goes back to download paused.

Any ideas why?

General Discussion / Full Tilt - L4B2 Campaign

Tonight I will start working on a new L4B2 campaign that will span at least 4 missions. Here is a brief description of them.

Home -> Train Station

Welcome to Tilt Mountain! At 13,965 feet, this is the tallest mountain in the Tifton Mountain Range, and situated at the top is a small town by the name of Arnesville. This is where you and three buddies live, but ever since that pandemic has spread, the area has seemed more and more - lifeless. The dead have risen! Good thing you have a stockpile of weapons in your basement!

This is campaign is pretty much going from your home to the train station, where you will catch a train down the mountain and into Downtown New Mesa. But things do not go as well as it seems...

Bridge -> New Mesa Outskirts
So you manage to stop the train before it de-rails off the destroyed bridge and into the water. Good! You can see New Mesa from here, but there is hundreds of zombies in the way! Maybe there is some kind of underground passage near by...

New Mesa Outskirts -> DT New Mesa
Wow, so you managed to get this far. Good! Now this is where all the zombies fester...

Will you survive?

Downtown New Mesa -> Objective

The helicopter evac point is in sight! Hopefully you can reach the top of the tallest building of New Mesa in time!


This will be a L4B2 combined with a little roleplaying, so yeah.

At my school, I have noticed less and less talk about "BLACK OPS DROPSHOT 360 DOUBLE Y SNIPER QUICKSCOP DOLPHIN DIVE" and more about people building castles,
creeper traps, zombie traps, mining for diamond, mining for redstone, large veins of iron, and everything about Minecraft. It was great at first, but now I do not know what to think of it :S

Also, I have a rant on this kid at my school.

The Apple Nerd. (we call him that c:)

When the teachers have a problem with their PC, they think he can fix anything with it. Then he makes some stupid as stuff comment like, "IT'S BECAUSE YOU HAVE WINDOWS!", and how Mac OS is the best, and that Macs are more worth your money, they can game properly (wtf), and a lot more. One time a video was taking a long time to buffer on the computer, and he said, 'I BLAME WINDOWS."

Seriously, forget off, kid.

If my computer case is 2ft x 2ft x 10in, then would the motherboard be ATX?

If not, what defines a motherboard as ATX?


Also, if I get a new motherboard, will it still support my 9800GT and sound card and stuff?

Off Topic / Why have I not been wanting to eat lately?

I usually LOVE to eat. But for the past week or so, I have just not wanted to, at all. Even now I am very hungry, but I don't want to eat. I've only had about 600 calories a day fro the past two or three days, and I am still not wanting to eat even though my stomach is rumbling.

ALso, yesterday I only had a 150 calorie hot pocket to eat.

What could be the cause of this?
