The server is dedicated and running 24/7, except during updates/maintenance and whenever RTB closes down their servers.
You're missing the point by a mile. The whitelist simply acts as a filter for people who will cause disruption to the roleplay, and since the whitelist has been implemented it has been decreased so dramatically. With this, you could technically give us a biography completely irrelevant to the actual character you plan on playing in all honesty, although I don't know why you wish would to do as such. plus I don't have to do the biased hosting time method, so people can play whenever they want to.

Your friends on skype is not proof to me, neither is a man on twitter. You failed to provide a decent source after I gave you half an hour to do so. I also gave you the opportunity to change your name to avoid fuss, in which you kept persisting.

PortalMaster doesn't try at all with applications, says: Do this and that, then I will accept. I am not raging, I am saying MY experience on the probably most tribal and unserious "Serious" RP I have seen in my 7 years of gaming.

I'll give Bluzone as an example of a good role-play. Bluzone, while it had a fairly simple story, had a player-written story which was constantly being developed. With that, the admins would often create events which would help further develop the story. The events were harsh with air-strikes to mutated creatures going on murderous rampages. Overall, it was fairly easy to jump in with a new character and simply roleplay, and also very immersive. I'm also not saying you can't dislike roleplaying, by the way. I am just saying you cannot dictate what others like.
Well, this thread quickly turned into a thread about peoples opinions on a role-playing mod to whenever or not role-playing is a good thing. I can't say I haven't contributed to the argument at all, but I would feel like a hypocrite if I was to continue arguing. Good luck the with intentions you had, Furdle, and finding what suits you the most.

You've got a fair point. I'm referring to servers in which you actually roleplay though. I don't recall anyone actually taking a city rp as anything other than an RPG, or tenzuni's more than a deathmath

There's plenty of death-matches and other game-modes out there for you to enjoy. I'm sorry, but you shouldn't be the dictator of how others spend their time in a video game.

Please provide a few examples of badly coded roleplay servers and the flaws in said code. I have never encountered any and therefore would not know.
Also, let me remind you of the definition of roleplay. When role-playing you simply take on the role of someone you aren't. Roleplays are not death-matches, RPG's or any other type of server you could possibly think of. I don't know of what "game-play" you're referencing to.
