You know what, fine, I'll get some of my skater friends and take a bus down to Minneapolis, just to check out the stuff at a skateshop, so I know exactly how much money I'll need.

i found that article on why zumiez is bad.
It's not that I don't disagree with the article, but I just don't think it's worth the time to go out of my way to go to a different city just to go to a skateshop :P. If there was one near me though, you can guarantee I would go to one of those.

My friend Alex loves it :3 But we're both buying skateboards because he wants to do tricks and stuff.
Yes, because 1. you're supporting a mall store run by people who normally dont skateboard (its location being in a mall and all that). More people go to zumiez because its more convenient, so more people buy there. But, what about the people who actually care about skateboarding at skateshops? They get nothing. At all.
Ah I agree with that but I don't really want to go out of my way to get to Minneapolis just to pay more for skateboarding stuff. Therefor, Zumiez is my local shop :P
