As a black person I do not understand the point of BLM. It has only increased racial tension in the U.S. without making any gains towards any of the goals they originally claimed to be about. They fail to touch on the core issues of the black community that leads to increased police presence in the first place, yet claim to be about black lives. Sure, you can argue they were a response to the seemingly casual dismissal of black lives taken by police, but then when you go back and look at the facts, all the evidence points to their appointed martyrs having forgeted the forget up and getting a bullet for loving up. Stop loving up dammit. It's not rocket science. I'm black and I've had minimal interaction with the police because I don't do dumb stuff. It's simple.

If they both end up on television for people to watch, what's the real difference? I don't believe in the theory that stuffty behavior is only unacceptable if you're a celebrity. Kathy Griffin and backwood hicks are equally at fault for their own respective bullstuff.

However, Kathy here is different, because her exposure was not for the sake of admonishment, but appraisal. At least until reasonable people on both sides saw it and said "oh no honey what is u doin"
I'm not saying it's only unacceptable from her, I'm saying it's different because everyone knows the backwoods idiots are idiots and should be made fun of whilst there are a decent amount of our population who would praise depictions of our president getting decapitated. The worst I've seen from T_D is Obama in prison or calling him Obongo. I just don't think it's equatable.

Obviously you can't defend Kathy Griffin's actions. Regardless of how stupid and ignorant Annoying Orange is, there's no need to stoop to his level. However, it's worth noting that the outcry has come predominantly from people who never said a single word whenever people were hanging/burning dolls of Obama. Just something to consider.

I think the people who deny climate change are a result of the politicization of science
Obviously the climate of the world is changing. It's a combination of natural cycles and human activity. To say it is simply one or the other is ridic, cause I've seen scientific papers for both, unless I'm mistaken? I do think people overstate the amount of damage we are doing, but also underestimate it. The polar ice caps melting will not doom the entire world, but we shouldn't be so nonchalant about losing our coastal cities.

 We should strive to be more environment friendly on point of principle, but it'll be a while before we can just go full renewable. And even if we can, how space efficient can that be? I think a combination of green energy while improving what we already have available is the best bet, as well as making strides towards colonizing other planets. We should be a multiplanet species, we're smart enough for it. I think.

If they're private institutions it's their right, but it's braindead loving stupid and, in the case of gay parents at least, there can definitely be lawsuits for discrimination. Someone's loveual orientation doesn't determine their ability to raise a child. Their religion, debatable, but we have religious freedom laws for better or worse.
Honestly though, why is anyone surprised, it's loving Texas for forget's sake.
