Actually a demon scythe works pretty well. Just remember to take out the hands first and then attack his the skull.

OR, you can go rumaging in the underground jungle for Nature's Gift, and make a Mana Potion, and find the nearest Goblin Tinkerer's Workbench (or whatever it's called)

What's a mana flower?
Also make an excalibur

Its an equipable. -8% mana usage and it auto-consumes mana potions when you need them, without cooldown. So basically you can just fire away with your magic items.

EDIT: Killed Destroyer using Magic Harp and a cube of hellstone. What should I make with the 28 souls of might?
