A wyvern is very common, which is why its listed under the common enemy group..

The Wyvern has a higher chance of spawning the higher up you go. In space the Wyvern is common. Your jungle must be pretty high up for the Wyvern to appear.
I guess so. He even appears in the corruption.

You have to fly really to a really high place reffered to as "space" for the Wyvern to come.
But he spawns down here in the jungle whenever I'm not ready for him.

« on: December 21, 2011, 06:17:36 PM »Oh. I got all of the souls of flight I need. I build an arena at the top of the world. I just run in one direction, then jump over the swooping Wyvern while firing a demon scythe. The demon scythe hits it like 5 times and I just repeat until it is dead.
It takes me less than 1 minute to kill one, and if I stick to the strategy right I take 0 damage.
I just used a mythril halberd and hoped fro the best.

« on: December 21, 2011, 05:40:27 PM »Yeah. I was going to the 3rd piece of corruption in my world to rid it of demon alters. I was trying to put up a quick shelter when wyvern comes out of nowhere and rapes me.
I actually need to kill them for the souls of flight, but they always spawn at the worst possible moments for me.
