General Discussion / Fullscreen or windowed?

How do you play blockland? The title is self-explanatory.

If you don't understand, fullscreen is when the window for blockland fits the monitor, as for windowed makes it so you can adjust the window size and move it about your monitor screen.

As for me, I like using windowed so I can chat with others across steam whilst playing blockland.

Drama / People that really need to be banned.

The title says all. A list of people that really deserve a good long ban due to their behavior, lack of any contribution and over-all just because they really need to be banned. Everything in this thread contains opinions so steer clear if this bothers you.

So, to keep the whole thing short and sweet, here's a list of people that really need to be banned.

#1:_Rave_
You'd think after sixteen months of nonstop friendry that he'd be permanently banned by now. Not only is he completely ignorant on almost everything he tries to argue about, he is always starting stupid arguments because some comment hurt his loving feelings somehow.

Anyways, he deserves a ban due to his attitude and willingness to keep being a jackass just because he feels like it.

It's gotten to the point before where he outwardly attacks somebody for even SAYING 'christian'.

#2:Sandvich
If his bad attitude or actions haven't set you off, Sandvich is the guy who's constantly trying to whore as much attention as possible. He's even posted pictures of his snake across several steam chats apparently. He will also attempt to (and fail at) troll or insult you if you say anything negative towards him.

He needs to be banned because the only thing he's contributed to is making a lot of people mad and letting people know he got his stupid whore pregnant.

#3:Rainbow
Rainbow used to be Night Fox's 'girlfriend' until he revealed that he's a horny friend. Now I have nothing against gay people, it's just that afterwords he started letting virtually everyone know that he was gay.

How? Using an avatar that was cut out from a researchographic image. Yeah, that's really smart.

So anyways, the only thing rainbow does is be an idiot. Everywhere. He doesn't post on topics to give criticism, he doesn't talk to friends, he doesn't even stay on topic for forgets sake. He just acts like a dumbass and doesn't give a stuff if you tell him to stop doing such.

And that's why he needs to be banned.

A stupid loser, to say the least. When he isn't trying to troll people with his 'fandom', he's trying to restart stuff that was resolved weeks ago. Even as lord tony stopped posting in the mlp thread, skelo started bringing the fight to his doorstep by insulting and threatening to report tony in almost every thread he posted in.

As almost everyone here's reason they need to be banned is because they're annoying and they never contribute to anything at all, the only thing skelo contributes to is the MLP thread, and even then he just stuffposts to claim pages.

#5:Lord Tony
He was banned for his behavior once, why not again? You may remember Lord Tony as the guy who trolled random hosts in servers (who weren't very bright to begin with) for stuffs and giggles. What first made me not like him is that he kept trying too hard to troll the mlp thread because people liked what he didn't.

Now the only thing he does is complain that things aren't good enough for him. He's not going to stop, and he doesn't listen to the voice of reason.

So yeah, he needs to be banned for the same reason as before.

#6:Aeschylus
Hey look who hasn't changed. Aeschylus is K1lla4lif3, a dumbass from before who stirred up stuff until he got banned for doing the very such thing.

I can only see two people actually being able to stand his stupidity. He's still trying to stir stuff up, apparently. He needs to be banned because his ignorance and attitude haven't changed since his previous ban, so he really doesn't deserve to be here any longer.


(At this point I started to worry if I could include anyone else without repeating anything I said earlier, since the only people that come to mind all are doing the same thing, being stupid and not contributing to anything, so. I kind of lost my train of thought and forgot if anyone else should be included, so I didn't include anyone else.)

I'm actually very happy that the forums are getting to be a lot nicer than when I first joined. Sure, there's still a lot of stupid people, but I think it's only going to be better than now.

Anyways, discuss.

Not as a reality-altering program, but a videogame itself. I was talking to jetlok about this, and I ran into some obvious problems.

Number one: How would it be online? Somebody hosts a server and people connect to it via IP?
Number two: Making it compatible for more than one person.
Number three: Making a world big enough for players.

So, as far as indie developing goes, could sburb be made?

Like say every time I have to go to sleep I take my glasses off, but in the middle of the night I'm laying there worrying I didn't take my glasses off.

You are DANIEL CRAIG of the Towering and township company. It's the year 2XXX and you used up a lot of money to have the first nanobots build the tallest tower in history. The only problem is that the nanobots went haywire and started building constant rooms in the tower. It is now up to DANIEL to explore every room whilst they're being made.

A simple game. You take the horizontal dimension of the tower room (200), the vertical dimension can be anywhere you want and you draw each room of the tower.

DANIEL has to be in every room drawn, too. Everything is custom, even DANIEL. This is because every room has different dimensions and proprieties.

Yes, it's that time of the year. This is a let's play thread run by screenshots instead of video clips. I will read the thread, and I do take suggestions on both what to play next, and what to do in the game. How I play the game is mostly independent for the exception of split choices and multiple endings!

Now, we're not going to start away with a game JUST yet, first I want to see if I feel like playing something, or if you guys want to see a playthrough of something :)

There will also be links the starting and ending post of each lp. I will not update every day, either.

Also, I will want to keep to older games unless it's games I already own. I love the save-state feature for emulators since I can leave off where I stopped, and I can pause it to take a screenshot. So don't suggest anything that will be illegal as far as emulating, and you'll be just fine.

I woke up on the oven, as I was being consumed by several stale dairy products. I then spotted my mom crying at the table, and she was bleeding from her forehead.

She told me my dad was beating her. But this wasn't possible. My mom IS my dad. She was then checked into a mental hospital, and my grandma came to raise me for sixteen more years.

I then became a black ninjurai (ninja samurai) with an afro and defeated the evil god of pretense tennis.

And that's how my day went.

General Discussion / Father is taking a liking to blockland, and as such, starting to play on my key.

So my dad started playing blockland with me across lan a few months ago. No big deal, just a father building and fighting with his son in a building game.

But he started liking blockland, and he asked if he could play every now and then on it.

But see, the problem is that he's going to do like he always does, and that's play a game until it isn't fun for him. Now blockland doesn't stop being fun because it's a sandbox game, there's always something different to do.

And so he's going to start playing on my blockland key, regardless of my consent to it.

So now my dad is "stealing" my key and not letting me play.

How could I fix this?

General Discussion / What would actually happen if somebody banned badspot from their server?

An honest question. Say Badspot joins a popular server to check it out because he's curious, I guess. The host, for stuffs and giggles gives badspot a 3-day ban.

What exactly would be the immediate course of action? I know Badspot wouldn't deactivate his key for it and all, but it's just curiosity.

So yeah, what would happen?
