You need to make the account from the right place and then it's still likely that you have to go to the account manager's website to make sure it made a game account for you.

DOMO and PS look neat, but I don't want to get stuck or hooked with nobody to play with.

I was part of both a Spy rush and a Heavy Rush in a row.
The heavies had a harder time because they are so terribly slow. The trick was to have some of then not shoot, but just run around corners to draw fire so others could clean up.
With spies there were enough of us that we could run circles around the enemies and backstab them.

I don't really have a favorite band since most bands have made at least one song I find unbearable. I'll listen to basically any genre, and usually any artist at least once.
As far as my top artists go, probably RHCP, Metallica, Apocalyptica, Nightwish, Coldplay, Radiohead, Bear McCreary (Writes soundtracks, eg : BSG), MB20, Modest Mouse, Silverchair, R.E.M, Bad Religion, Muse, Franz Ferdinand, Finger Eleven. A lot of indie too.

I think a custom duplicator script could be set up so admins can give certain people a bypass to the timer, the rest seem useless.

Actually, I find that losing, while somewhat frustrating, is more fun than sitting there without any danger to your fort.
