No, you did it wrong. And I said it wrong. Redo the body.

1) Make a body.

2) Extrude the sides, then scale. Then extrude the top and scale.

3) Ctrl+N the parts that you extruded from the top.

Uxie... Choose the two top vertecies circled, then press Ctrl+n.

Then select the bottom ones, and press Ctrl+n.

Do this around the entire car.
