This is mere propaganda.  Rome, under decree of Emporor Constantine, had become a Christian Empire, it was later attacked and Constantine's regeme then ruled the Eastern Roman Empire, later creating the Eastern Orthodox Church.

This is not a valid source.  All other sources agree with barbaric attack on Rome from the "Vandals."

I agree with you on the not a valid source part, but what you said had no source either. It's one of those things you have to kind of make your own conclusions to, if that makes any sense.

This was the time where monks would dedicate their lives to duplicating these works.  The monks lived in seclusion.  When the Renaissance bloomed, the copies had become duplicated enough to sell, and people learned from the "Classic" era. (of philosophers before and after Jesus' time)
The Classics invoked reason, sparking humanism, secular beliefs, and soon enough, the modern atheist.  The monks' intention was to preserve knowledge and not start a revolution against Christianity, however...

False, after the collapse of Rome, all literary works were destroyed except for those owned by Christian monks.  These were copied and duplicated.
