Chrome is taking the lead with 8 votes so far, with Firefox in 2nd with 3 votes. Opera and Internet Explorer are tied for 3rd!

Chrome's pretty much got this one in the bag, but I wouldn't be too surprised to see Firefox get quite a few more votes. How long should I keep the poll running? A week? Remember, I've got more poll ideas, so this one can't run forever.

I don't see chromium. It should be in the same voting option as chrome though, as I mentioned above. Just do "Chrome/Chromium".

Overlooked your post. Added as per request.

I'm going to add the poll now. I think I will change the poll every week, because I have a few ideas.

You should add a poll. Seems like a fairly good idea for a topic discussing browsers and the statistics of their use.
See if the BLF matches the general trend of the internet.

Glad to see that you like the thread. I'm going to let this go a page or two further before I add a poll, though.

Off Topic / Internet Browser Megathread - Second Poll!
« on: July 10, 2014, 08:56:05 PM »

Approved by Champion!

So what's the Browser Megathread?
As the title implies, this is where we discuss all things Luigi. No, obviously, we discuss internet browsers. You're viewing this with a browser right now! Or you're a wizard and somehow not viewing this with a browser.

A megathread for internet browsers? Why do we need one?
Because I may have, uh, accidentally derailed a thread.

Meet the browsers
These are the most popular internet browsers. Most forumers are viewing this thread on one of 'em!
Light blue and infamous
Internet Explorer
Microsoft Internet Explorer, later referred to as Internet Explorer 1, made its debut on August 16, 1995. It came with Microsoft Plus! for Windows 95. Although not included, this software can be installed on the original release of Windows 95. IE2, 3, and 4 were released for Windows 95 systems in later years. IE5, launched on March 18, 1999, was included with Windows 98 SE and bundled with Office 2000. On August 27, 2001, IE6 was released just a few months before the release of Windows XP.
Insert more information here because I'm too tired to complete this massive paragraph.

Orange, speedy, but too many add-ons.
Firefox
Information will come eventually. I know little about this browser.

Lime green lightning speed. That's about it.
Google Chrome/Chromium
Information status: same as Firefox

The red smart car.
Opera
Information status: same as Firefox

I don't have a comment for this one because I'm totally unfamiliar with it.
Safari
Pretty much the IE of Apple. Comes included with Mac software. More information needed.

Internet Explorer - 20.79%
Firefox - 18.74%
Safari - 10.01%
Opera - 1.34%

Chrome - 38%
Internet Explorer - 19%
Firefox - 16.8%
Safari - 16%
Opera - 3.2%

Oh my, this thread needs so much work...
Yeah. You can help fix that.
I need your help!
What I need done:

A better Opera logo Done, thanks Doomonkey!

Information for all of the browsers.

Stuff that a megathread needs.

More facts for Did You Know, as well as having anything corrected that I got wrong.

Did you know?
I wrote this megathread in Internet Explorer 8!

When making huge posts, IE8 is not your friend.

Internet Explorer 1 was released August 16, 1995.

Firefox was originally called Phoenix. It was changed to Firebird for copyright issues. It was then changed again to Firefox for similar reasons.

General Discussion / Re: Speedkart Track Development Server [ONLINE]
« on: July 10, 2014, 07:26:55 PM »
I have to admit, out of all the people that have read this topic, I was expecting there to be more than one person who would want to build some tracks.

Do I want to build tracks? Yes.

Should I ever be hired to build tracks? No, unless you want a track that's fun at the cost of low detail.

Click that button, buddy.

How do you save the colors? I've clicked save, but it doesn't actually add the color to the avatar menu.

« on: July 10, 2014, 06:00:09 PM »

another was harrasment
another was a roblox link
and the last was a referral link :(

how does a roblox link get you banned

I tried to post one back in 2010 and all I got was a block page saying "don't post links to roblox"

I've gone 4 years banless. However, I still have an alt should a ban ever happen.
