A sci-fi horror RPG

-STORY-

The year is 2401. Massive Bahamut-class space cruisers are exploring the endless space, mining resources, hunting down hostile aliens and finding suitable planets for humans to live on. One day, on space station Kelloth XIV, radars detected a large vessel heading past it. It appears to be completely offline, it doesn't respond to communications and nobody knows where it is coming from, or where it is heading. It appears to be a Bahamut-class cruiser named Sylph...However, records indicate that no such ship has ever been built. A small team of military forces and mechanics is sent to the ship to find out, what is going on...

-CHARACTERS-

The first team will start with a minimum of 4 characters. Here is a template for you:


The following information is required with the character:
-Name
-Age
-Gender
-Class (Gunner, Mechanic, Scout)

Background information is optional. All characters start with 5 HP, which can be increased via armor and other items.

-CLASS INFO-

-Gunner: The meat and potatoes of any army. Capable of using an assault rifle, or a shotgun, but can also use a sniper rifle from long range.

-Mechanic: Armed only with a wrench or a blowtorch at the start of the game. Can repair broken machinery. Also skilled with explosives.

-Scout: A mixture of the gunner and mechanic. Armed with a magnum, or a burst rifle at the start of the game. Can use night vision to see better in the dark.

-COMBAT-

Yes...there will be combat...lots of it...Whenever characters battle, I will throw a D6. On a result of:

- 1: Attack fails and the character misses his next turn.
- 2: Attack fails.
- 3: Attack barely hits. Half damage.
- 4: Attack hits. Normal damage.
- 5: Critical hit. Double damage.
- 6: Critical hit + second roll. ( it is possible to achieve combos this way.)

-LOOT-

Same as with the combat, a D6 will be rolled when a character opens a crate or something similiar:

- 1-2: Credits (can be used at dispensers)
- 3-4: Items (such as stimpaks, painkillers, grenades, ammunition...)
- 5-6: Armors and weapons

-MAP-

Will be shown to the players, when the game starts.

I haven't seen a lot of offroad vehicles recently...Well...Some old stuff like the stunt buggy and some of the offroad variations of Filipe's cars, so I decided to suggest something for you.

DUNE BUGGY

So this is quite simple: Would handle like jeep, except it could have suspensions (if this is possible)

MONSTER TRUCK

Sure, there is that monster jeep, but hey...I'm pretty sure most of us think about this when they hear the word "monster truck".

RACING TRUCK

A bit like the jeep, except for being slower and bigger.

What is this?

Well, I noticed that there haven't been many deathmatch servers on blockland lately...
Just RP's, Freebuilds and some good TDM/CTF servers.
 I decided I would start hosting a dedicated Blockland deathmatch server.


Features

-Simple deathmatch: 25 kills to win the round
-No classes or anything: Weapons are scattered around the map
-Build Cycling (As soon as I have more than 1 map ready :P)
-A large variety of maps (planned)

Maps (finished and planned)

Red= Not Started
Yellow= In progress
Green = Done


DESERT



Size: Medium
Weapons: All (SMGs, shotguns, rifles, grenades)
Description: Four bunkers around a small pool of water. The water is very hard to see-through (unlike in the picture),
offering a great place to sneak up on people or hide from gunfire.

SWAMP



Size: Medium
Weapons: No grenades
Description: A warehouse and a barracks connected by a tarmac road, surrounded by a swampy forest area. Very foggy, low visibility, bad weather, a true camper's nightmare! Credit to Boss Dragon for helping me build it!

Bridge
Size: Small
Weapons: Shotguns, SMGs, grenades
Description: A large bridge over a frozen river, with a small camp on the other side and pine woods on the other.

Lapland
Size: Large
Weapons: All
Description: A lake area surrounded by a large forest area. There is also a small settlement somewhere near the lake.

When will this be hosted?
I'll host every time it's possible.

Off Topic / Microphone static/buzzing noise

So, few days ago I tried to record some gameplay, but my microphone is acting a bit strange...
When I go to audio recording devices, I can see "FrontMic" being the only device plugged in, instead of normal microphone (the mic is in my headphones.) like it usualy is. When I try to listen to the mic, I can only hear this annoying static/buzzing noise from it. This happens when I connect it to my front jack. When It's in the rear jack, the computer regonizes it as "Microphone" instead of "FrontMic". No buzzing noise this time...Actualy...No noises at all! Also I noticed, that if I push the front jack a bit, I can hear my own speech, but when I let go, the buzzing noise comes back. Any ideas on how I could fix this?

Suggestions & Requests / Team-Colour Laser Gun

So I want this pretty simple weapon, that looks like the main weapon from shootmania storm.

Basicly, it would fire laser-like projectiles that would be the same colour as the team you are currently on (if no team, then it shoots red). Projectiles would be a bit slower than default gun's bullets, it would fire as fast as the default gun and projectiles are insta-kill.

OMEGA RAID

Welcome to the Omega Raid Adventure Game!

STORY

The story begins of an abandoned space station known as Omega Vault. It is said, that inside the space station, there is an aincent alien relic worth millions of dollars. Can you make it through the space station, fight off possible hostiles and find the relic? Many have entered, but few have returned.

COMBAT
Credit to Aces for the combat rules and character templates.
Players have one stat: HP
Starts out at 20, but they can find items to increase it.
Armor simply reduces how much damage they take by a certain amount.
Weapons have a strength characteristic, and maybe some special rules. (ex. heavy weapons will be strong, but always strike last)
When someone rolls to hit, I roll a D6
1 = Critical failure, the combatant misses and is unable to attack next turn.
2 or 3 = Failure, the combatant fails to do any damage.
4 or 5 = Success, the combatant makes their mark and does the normal amount of damage.
6 = Critical success, the combatant hits a vulnerable spot and does double damage.
Players both roll at the same time, and whoever has the highest result attacks first. If the result is the same, re-roll both(lets say they block each others attacks)


Example combat:
Caro is fighting Zion. Caro has a sword that does 10 damage, and Zion has a helmet that has an armor value of 3 and a lead pipe that does 5 damage.
The players roll off, Caro rolls a 5 and Zion rolls a 4. Caro then attacks first, dealing 10-3(7) damage to Zion. Charlie now has 13/20 HP. Zion then does 5 damage to Caro. Caro has 15/20 HP now.
Next round, Caro rolls a 1 and Zion rolls a 6. Zion attacks first, dealing 5x2(10) damage to Caro. Caro is now down to 5/20 HP. Caro rolled a 1, so his attacks miss and he can't attack next round.
Next round, Caro can't roll, and Zion rolls a 4. Zion beats Caro with his stick, dealing 5 damage. Caro now has 0 HP, and is dead. Zion takes Caro's sword and advances on.

Class: Gunner (ranged), Warrior (melee), or thief (Mixed)
Starting area: Northern landing platform, southern entrance, Western landing platform, or eastern entrance.

I think I just got a virus on my computer. When I start it, I get a fullscreen window which I can't exit, saying my computer is locked due to a crime. Im supposed to pay 100 euros to unlock my computer using some weird cash card thingy i've never heard of. There was also a list of possible crimes...one being terrorism...Dafuq? Since when going to BL forums and Facebook has been terrorism? Anyway, if anyone knows about this, would be cool if you could help...

Suggestions & Requests / Tumbling and vehicle

So I got this idea, which would be pretty fun for racing and GTA stylish servers: When you exit a moving vehicle, your character will tumble instead of just fall out of the vehicle. Also the player would tumble when the vehicle gets destroyed.
