It can run windows fine, a bit on the slower side but nothing unreasonable. Was just looking for something to make it feel more responsive when doing things like browsing the internet, watching videos, or typing up things.

May I ask what version of windows you are keeping on there?

Its Windows 10. I think I might use the laptop more for schoolwork than for gaming and I don't want to be that guy whos computer cant run whatever program I need for class. I guess I can use lab computers for that but I always find shared workstations absolutely disgusting so I'd rather just use my laptop.

I've got a old ass laptop and I want it to run nicely, so I'm looking for a light and stable distro. I've tried Manjaro but it seems to freeze after a bit of use, what distros would you guys recommend (inb4 arch/gentoo). I also want to keep a windows install on a separate partition in case I need the os, but the storage is only 500gb, is it not worth it?

This is a great way to miss out on the extra protein packed in with the rice.

It's rice, you're not getting much protein from it anyway, just eat another protein with the rice. Also I'm assuming they're cooking jasmine rice, it helps remove starch and makes the rice fluffier and less porridge-like. Don't know if that applies to any other rice

Don't forget to rinse your rice until the rice water is mostly clear
