Classic Carbine
Model it after the M1 Garand, with sights and similar firing and reloading.
Modern Carbine
Could be modeled similar to a FAL, and with sights, firing, and reloading similar to basic.
Get shadowsfear to model it.
He's already got the FAL down, the M1 shouldn't be hard.
