i think you can do this with current events already
use minigame events to detect when the minigame resets, and then chose a random weapon
I know this can be done manually, but the major problem I'm focused on is event overload.
Say you throw down 100 weapon spawns on the map, minigame resets, toomanyeventsatonce warning pops up.
Plus, this would make things a little easier.

Simply, it's an addon where an RTB pref name is placed on to different bricks, and these bricks spawn weapons that have been set for it.
Like you can add a list in the addon(manual) or a chat command to set what weapons are randomly set for each brick.
Or an event that when each time the minigame resets, it randomly selects a weapon or no weapon to spawn on the brick.
Also, RTB prefs if that gun is removed once picked up.

I hope you aren't using the L4D2 weapon pack.
That weapon pack has been around for quite sometime, and in my opinion, it's kinda overused.
I suggest Gravity Cat's Default Styled Weapons or some of the Blockombat guns or the HK weapons pack.
Just try to use something new, and keep it uniform. Plus, if this is a DayZ server, aren't you supposed to scavenge for ammo?

Otherwise, there's a throwing knife that works pretty well.
