first of all, its a box. you cannot deny it, it is just a square.

basically any other house was like that - i tried to add depth and detail though, as opposed to making solid walls (i was kinda nervous about the top floor exterior)
also like i said, i had a small plot - there wasnt much space, although i guess i could've added some shape.
the interiors are all one room. realistically, houses are divided up into rooms. this is the largest mistake i see with houses to date.
for some reason i didn't do that but i thought of it?? i guess i just didnt like how it fit with the space i had and i couldnt find a comfortable way to divide, bu i guess that was a problem on my part.
the roof curve on the edges looks bad, and the 45 degree ramps coming together at the top is bad too. you have to plan our your building dimensions before you build so that doesn't happen with the roof.

the exterior is kind of cookie cutter style. it has the odd looking grey outlining that doesnt really fit a lot of houses, if any at all. the colors are also an odd choice. i dont understand what everyone's fancy with sepia-greys are.
since, well, it's a house for a robot, i tried to make it look a bit industrial - adding concrete borders, but i didnt really know what else would fit. wood? it didnt seem to blend well.
the concrete beams were for depth, like i said in the first quote.

not as symmetrical and repetitive as possible, but it's more of an up-close thing thats not really pictured here, oops.
the interior floor is ugly, and that couch is placed horribly behind the staircase, and it looks really weird with the 1x pole. you also used a lot of prop bricks, which is bad.
forget i thought someone was gonna say that
i also tried to make my own computer but it didnt look very good - it's better off using the props. unless you meant in other places (in which i cant tell bc i really only used props there) yeah iunno
i love the bed, and the chair for the 'battlestation,' and i like the garage.
