Off Topic / I loving hate D-link
« on: July 25, 2011, 07:06:49 PM »
I got a new iPod dock, and it can be used as PC speakers. So, I plug it in, and immediately, for whatever reason, it conflicts with the loving network adapter. The drivers refuse to work on Linux aswell, and now I have no PC speakers and if I restart it'll happen again. Both of their drivers will fail and Windows sorts it all out by simply re-enabling the D-Link driver.

God damn it this is pissing me off.

Off Topic / Suggest Nobbs a good headset
« on: July 20, 2011, 11:08:32 PM »
I have started Let's Playing. However, both my microphones are stuff. I need a good headset with a microphone for under 80 USD. They also have to be good at picking up voice. 3.5 MM jack or USB connector are the oonly connectors that will work with my  PC.

Off Topic / I am the luckiest audiophile EVER

Well, here is what happened: My mom cancelled our Delta Skymiles card, and as it turns out she had a buttload of credits. So...she let me pick out anything from their rewards thing. I made sure several times that there was nothing she wanted, so I got THIS: http://www.bowers-wilkins.com/iPod_and_Computer_Speakers/iPod_and_Computer_Speakers/Zeppelin_Mini/Overview.html

Yes. A hundred dollar iPod dock, purchased with no money. I can not loving wait, and the best part is is that I will sell one of my docks I have right now, and with that money I can buy a good set of headphones.

I am trying to import songs into the game AudioSurf, but its like they are not even there. The game excepts MPEG-4 and every other song on my iTunes library, but nothing even thinks the song exists. the entire Indestructible album is protected, but not any other one.

Is there a way to remove this protection? I have tried everything I know.

Games / Audiosurf - ride your own music
« on: July 08, 2011, 02:36:02 PM »
Audiosurf is an indie game available off of Steam for just a few dollars, and it will be on sale for 1.49 cents for a little while. You import your own music (directly off of iTunes or you can use the built-in "radio") and the game will build a track based off the music. You pick from varying characters, which have Casual, Pro, and Elite difficulties. Each character has its own special abilities and ship. The goal is to rack up as many points as possible by hitting colored blocks and getting combos before the song ends. As the song gets faster, the track slopes upwards and the blocks will get "hotter", changing colors. The hotter the colors, the more points. However, the speed of the song also effects the speed of your ship, and there are grey blocks, which take up spaces in columns and give no points until they are hit 3 times with other blocks. There is no way to be killed, except on the Pro and Elite difficulties. The blocks are stacked in columns when hit, and if you let them overflow, you will die and become a ghost, unable to get points, until you re-spawn. in Casual you simply lose points.

Screenies!

Damn it, FRAPS is making my cursor show. It doesn't actually show in the game except for menus.

Suggestions & Requests / Panzerklein from Silent Storm
« on: July 07, 2011, 02:15:07 AM »
This is a sort of mech suit from the game Silent Storm. That game is old and in bad repair, but it has these neat mech suits near the end, armed with lasers, grenade  launchers, swords, mortars, and machine guns. Watching a play-through of the game, I just realized how kick-ass these would be in Blockland.

pics from the game (not mine):

here is the playthrough: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bwPLKud0rP4&feature=channel_video_title

So, a few hours ago I commented on a video about a humidifier. Somebody was being a stupid fanboy so I told them to shut it. I go to my YT and find these messages waiting in my inbox...

my response was this:

I am still laughing.

Well, what the forget. According to this article http://sanfrancisco.ibtimes.com/articles/160431/20110609/apple-s-jobs-shows-off-spaceship-headquarters-plan.htm  Steve Jobs wants to go and stuff on his company's budget and build an unnecessary office building.

Help / How do I change the decals on a bot?
« on: June 29, 2011, 10:03:41 PM »
So, for a community project I am doing, I need bots to look like soldiers. However, I do not know how to do this. I have tried various events with no luck. How do I change the decals and faces of the bots?

Forum Games / Interactive Adventure: Helicopter Malfunction
« on: June 29, 2011, 02:11:44 AM »
You are a pilot, obviously, flying a CH-53 Super Stallion. The flight is going well, but then a loud CLANG! sounds from the rear of your aircraft, and the helicopter spins wildly. As alarms blare, you slowly start to panic, wondering what to do.

Health: 100/100 (how healthy you are)

Stamina:100/100 (how much energy you have)

Morale: 40/50 (how good you are feeling)

CURRENT INVENTORY

Pistol

Map

Basic survival kit

CURRENT SITUATION

Your helicopter is dropping from the sky, spinning wildly, and you have no parachute.

Yes, I know a guy already made something like this. However,  I decided to do something like this. Except his was with a plane. Suggest what our pilot does next.

Off Topic / My family needs another gameing rig
« on: May 26, 2011, 05:09:29 PM »
Well, my family had one decent computer, a Dell with an i5. The other is a horrible piece of stuff with 512 mb of ram. Only problem is that a decent computer from ibuypower costs over 600 dollars, now, do any of you have any suggestions how a 13 year old moron can get that? My brother plays games on the main pc as well, and i am in desperate need of playing il2.

Well, this is loving weird. I actually hate every time my mom tells me to get me pale flabby ass out the door, and play basketball with someone. I go days without leaving the house, and I think everyone hates me even though many people deny this.

I doubt this is a good thing.

it was even worse when I was little, I would sit on my stuffty HP for hours on end, showering every now and then and only wearing pajamas.

I have an image I want to use as my desktop background, but my starfish brother always gets pissed at me for changing one thing (it's a shared pc). I won't punch him because he is 3 years older than me and his weight lifting equipment takes up the laundry room. It's not research you pervs.
