Rigs of Rods, as I have stated in the title, is a soft body physics simulator, in which you can crash cars, or race cars with realistic crash physics. You now may be wondering. "Is the game free?" "If so, where can I download it at?" Well, 1. Yes, and it always will be free. 2nd. Here's the download page:
http://download.rigsofrods.com/Now you may be perplexed by why I put "Driving Simulator" in the title, I'll tell you why. Because you can actually simulate you're driving a car because you need to go into reverse, and go into forwards again, just like a stick shift car. It's also got other gears, like 1/6 2/6... etc.
It also has amazing physics, so you can do this:

Now for basic controls:
The movement keys are the arrow keys.
A to go into downwards stick shift,
Z is to go into upwards stick stuff,
X is to turn on/off the engine
N to turn on your lights (yes, I said lights, we'll get into that more later on in the post)
H to honk your horn, or hold it down
P for your parking brakes
Q to go into different shifts
Pg Up to go up in shifts, (easier than A or Z)
Pg Down to go down in shifts
Hold down enter on your number-pad to change the time of day.
Right mouse to move your camera into a different orientation.
I to rescue and reset your vehical where you spawned it at.
And many more commands that you'll find in the game!
Now for some Questions and answers:
Q: What chances are there on downloading this game?
A: The only thing is WhiteSmoke toolbar, but you can delete it if you want.
Q: Why should I look at this topic instead of just the website?
A: Because this topic gives a good description of the game, and you learn some basic controls. In fact, other vehicals can have opening doors and hoods and trunks.
Just ask any other questions if you have them.
