first off, why is it a zip file? there's really no point in having it be zipped if it's just one file.

This is a common misconception.  I wish I'd saved proof of it, but I asked Badspot once on his server what the source of After School Special was.  He told me it's from a royalty-free music CD he got back in 1996.  Indeed, "Me Cacharon Mis Papas" (semi-nsfw warning) seems to use the same stock music source, but one is not from the other.

Of course, neither "source" is a video game, but I feel it's worth bringing up before someone else does.

PlayGUI.forceFOV = (number from 1 to 179); prevents servers from changing the FOV but also disables zooming. (to disable: PlayGUI.forceFOV = 0;)

edit: for screenshots, change PlayGUI to NoHudGUI

You could probably use Nexus's Server Command Gui to toggle between your preferred zoom ($Pref::Player::CurrentFOV) and your preferred FOV ($pref::Player::defaultFov)

Reposting this from the old thread:

I am almost positive that I have updated openAL in the past and then reverted it because it caused random issues for people.  Either it crashed or it didn't run or it was the sound mix up issue.  I don't remember exactly because it was years ago, but I'm pretty sure we've been down this path before.

if the file length is larger than 1048580 (1048.58kb or just above 1mb) it wont load it.

actually 1048576 bytes is the limit. made a few ogg files with crap in the header (actually just modified paprika - byakko no because it's the largest default file) and anything above that were ignored.

I have continuously tried to find a fix to this issue, but whenever i load a video nobody else can see it. Is there a way to load a video server sided or is that only available to the host of said server?

I don't think people would find those there as easily as you can on soundcloud unless you had that link saved somewhere

Also, are those also official, or did someone just take the MP3s from Soundcloud, and re-export them as WAVs? Because they'd still have the MP3 compression artifacts, so having them as WAVs would be pointless if that were the case
