I think I kinda had the same problem. But I couldn't open BL. My brother fixed it by just re-downloading BL. Also: I have Windows 7 too.

Help / How To: Make a Dedicated Server

I am going to tell you a step-by-step guide on how to make a Dedicated server. For beginners.
Step 1: Go to "Start a Game" in the menu. Set-up the server name, add-ons ,etc. Then start the game.
Step 2: Once the game is loaded and you spawned. Press Esc and completely quit Blockland.
Step 3: Go to the Blockland folders, if you can see there is something that says "dedicated". If you are doing LAN, click "dedicatedLAN". After you click that a command prompt window should show up.
Step 4: Once that command prompt stops moving, then is should say "Dedicated server is now running." If it stops for a moment and says "Regenerating file manifest" it is not done.
Step 5: Now, you open Blockland. (With that command prompt still up from earlier.) Go to "Join a Game". Search the list of servers until you should find a server with your name thats dedicated and 0 people on it.
Step 6: Join and enjoy you dedicated server.
Tips:
If you close the command prompt window then your server will shut down. Or just not make it dedicated anymore. (Unknown)
If you quit Blockland, your server will still be up. As long as the command prompt is still open.

Needs plants and interior. Maybe a car outside with a lamppost and a tree.Hmmm, I'll start building some interior and add some plants. I will start doing that right now.

Me and my brothers both do this. What we do is, we change our name to Blockhead25000 (or higher). Make our avatar the default one. Then we go to servers and act like noobs, no offense. But it's fun.
I suggest you try this out. Warning: you might get banned.
Tip: Go to servers that are unpopular. Such as freebuilds with 2 to 4 people.
