Off Topic / suggest good movies to me pls??

I really like scifi stuff, but it doesn't have to be any specific genre, as long as it is good
preferably sorta modern, like post-1990, I don't generally care for old movies. but if it's really good, then whatever, go ahead

some movies I've seen recently that I liked:
elysium
oblivion
prometheus
cloud atlas
iron man (3, but I also liked the other two)
pacific rim
etc.

yes. apparently all the definitions google shows me for chargeback are not what it means for normal people. I talked to the bank and I know the issue now
a check my mom gave me the other day didn't clear. ffs
it was part of a deposit I made that included a bunch of cash, too, which is why I didn't notice it at first

okay so this morning I checked my bank account stuff
and I had a lot less money than I should've
so naturally you'd be confused right? if you found out you had less money than you should in your bank account?
well, I checked the transaction history, and there's a $50 debit with a description of just "Chargeback"
not only that, but another $6 charge with "Item chargeback fee"
I had no idea what a chargeback was, so I looked it up, and apparently it's when a consumer feels like they weren't probably satisfied with a service or something, and gets their money back from the company. but wtf, I'm not a company, I haven't even rendered any services. definitely not $56 worth of services on monday. I didn't do anything on monday

so I guess I'm gonna call my bank in an hour or so and ask about it. idk when they open

I got it in a humble bundle and I don't need it because I already own a copy
you still need to have another source game to play it of course, because there wasn't one in the bundle. sry

every other forum I've ever been to has a section for introducing yourself. this is the only one I can recall visiting that doesn't. and it's definitely the only one I've used that tends to look down on it. so I just wanted to put that out there, that maybe we'd need one

Games / Forza Motorsport 5 sucks

this is a disaster. I'm glad I didn't buy an xbox one for this bullstuff
the game only has 14 tracks and around 200 cars
FOURTEEN TRACKS
that's both less than half of what forza 4 had
horizon had about 300 cars and it STILL felt limited. but loving 200?!?!
yes it's pretty but who gives a damn when it's so lacking in everything
it doesn't even have the nurburgring
ffs turn 10. wth happened?! I'm so mad. forza is my baby and THEY RUINED IT

pls discuss how god damn terrible this stupid ass game is

I made a topic a couple of months ago about a cat that would spend most of the day at our house

and, just like that gray cat I mentioned, the white and orange one also disappeared, about a week ago
the orange visitor cat stuck around for a few days after, but now he doesn't show up either. there's been food in their bowl for like three days now and not a bit has been eaten :c
it's weird to not hear meowing whenever I get home

I mean, I don't understand
if someone wants to die, why should they be told that they can't? obviously it's different a bit if they're too young to make these decisions, or have a mental problem that might prevent them from making the right one
but like, if you have a disease or something that is definitely going to kill you, but not without putting you and your family through much pain and financial stress beforehand, why couldn't you put yourself out of your misery?
it doesn't make any sense to me. some arguments about abortion are like, "you shouldn't have control over another person's life," but this is entirely your life. and it should be entirely your decision
so why???

(also, by "ever" in the title, I meant in different places, not like, as in there should be no exceptions)

so this cat has been visiting and eating some of our cat's food

the orange one is the visitor
to begin with he'd run away always, but he doesn't anymore. he even let me pet him

^^him meowing bc I had cat food

so ya he's a cutie. I guess it's a guy, I didn't look. but he or she is probably spayed or neutered bc he's really tame and I'm betting he has other owners
our cat gets along with him well

we used to have another cat too, a grey one, but he ran away when we moved
