Instead of making a topic to address this issue. You could have just consulted with him over steam/skype.
making a topic about the problem is preferable to talking to thompson. pretty much everything is

The cornea is the outer layer of an eyeball, of course I can see it!
well, you're still a little wrong there. the cornea only covers the iris and pupil, the rest is the sclera
and you also can't see it, not from that angle, like you can't see the air around you

Wikipedia or not, almost anyone these days is a so called expert. I rarely take things with a pinch of salt these days because of that.
"these days"? you're 20. quit being pretentious

2 kinda. it would be neat to visit a few thousand years in the future, but I don't think I'd want to stay there, so if I wouldn't be able to come back, I'd just decline the offer, or go one second into the future
1. Travel to a certain point in time, change one thing, and come back to your time to witness the repercussions
this isn't possible, because if that thing is changed, you would have never had a reason to go back in time, so you wouldn't have, and it would break something or something. obviously we don't know what actually happens when a paradox occurs

well not everything
a sport, such as baseball, cannot be art because there's nothing to interpret from it
you don't have to be able to "interpret" something from it for it to be art

uncanny iris doesn't sound as catchy
sorta blur the words together when you say it and imagine it as the name of some egyptian queen. it sounds better that way

Off Topic / Re: easy way to fix a broken laptop keyboard + mouse?
« on: April 05, 2014, 06:04:03 PM »
It's not worth it fixing a laptop/netbook keyboard. Too much work is involved and high risks of loving up.
um... it is worth it. fixing it would be a lot less expensive than getting a new one. and if you were going to get a new one anyway, it doesn't matter if you break it

I saw this at my bank a few minutes ago

I see him a lot but this is the first time I've seen it up close. there's also another 370z that I see rarely parked at a national guard armory nearby. it's blue and has some cosmetic enhancements, but I've never been able to get a picture of it

logos usually aren't just words
they can have words
but like
you know

and if it is just words, it should be stylized and interesting

but whatever man, it's your stuff

Okay you still want to argue whatever I don't care
this isn't even about gamefandan's cousin anymore, the fact that I apologized to him isn't really relevant to the conversation
All of them changed your perception of the world, which is really all you can prove exists.
yeah
that's ridiculous

bill gates created microsoft, which then created windows, which in turn is being used to assist science, medicine and lots of other important stuff, not to mention making people's lives easier.
also, you're likely also using a Windows computer to dismiss all of the above.
that doesn't mean windows changed the world. tons of other things can do just that, easily, and already do

and I used charmin toilet paper a while ago. charmin didn't change the world. neither did fujitsu, who made the laptop I'm using, nor badspot, who created the forum that I'm posting on

here's a concept for you to re-learn real quick: you simply don't riff on someone's dead cousin, especially if they're still pretty raw about it.
doing so will only lead to your ass being kicked fifty times by everyone nearby.

also, i'm pretty sure software kind of plays a large part in both medicine and science
I don't know what "riff" means in that context but I'm pretty sure that I wasn't doing it

and software in general does, sure, so does hardware. computers changed the world. bill gates, specifically, did not
are you serious right now LOL
'changing the world' can apply to having an impact on the people who live on it because the people who live on it have an impact on the world.
seriously open your eyes man, bill gates has really impacted the people who live on earth in the milky way galaxy, since you enjoy getting technical
then we have different ideas of what "changing the world" means
slavery being gone or at least looked down upon in most of the world is an example of the world changing. but that can't be credited to any one person
There is medicine and science which would not exist if not for Micro$oft. Not much of it, but it's there.
examples?? please. I doubt microsoft was behind any serious advancements in either of those fields

by the way, gamefandan, I'm sorry. what I said was rude. I shouldn't have said it. if I could change the past, I wouldn't have said it. but I still don't think I've deserved most of the stuff you people have been saying
