what's pathetic about not treating every partner like you're going to be with them for the rest of your life from the beginning of your relationship?

and another question, why do you care? if it's a mutual thing between them, nobody's getting hurt, and it doesn't even begin to affect you, why is it a problem that two people aren't acting the exact same way you do? what's the issue?
