so i'm guessing being able to play minecraft in minecraft is like having spaceships, hovercars and terraforming then

Redstone is only good for compasses and watches. I'm no engineer, I'm an architect. Redstone circuits, even the absolute simplest, baffle me. I'm like an Amish Minecrafter.

uh no minecraft has pretty stuffty graphics, no excuses.
doesn't mean it's a bad game but it detracts from the atmosphere quite a bit.

graphics matter a ton.

Minecraft doesn't have low-quality graphics; in fact the graphics are absolutely beautiful. it has low-quality textures, and it gives some players a feeling of nostalgia, which is part of its claim to success.

Have too much redstone but not going to use it? Use the redstone as paths from and to. If you can't use up any more charcoal/coal, just place a redstone torch down next to that stuff. BAM, instant lighting.

I'll just explore aimlessly, I found a mouth somewhere a while ago.
