This has been going on for about three days. Needless to say, you all heard of it the very second it started, so it's relatively pointless for me to even create this topic.

EVEN SO.

A team of programmers at IBM has created an ingenious supercomputer called Watson, and have decided to test his capabilities on the game show Jeopardy! against two human competitors, Ken Jennings and Brad Rutter.

What do you think of this innovation? Potential robotic megalomaniac? Innovative technological breakthrough?

EDIT: Oh yeah, and the humans won in the end. Contrary to what I believed by about halfway through the competition, when Watson had accumulated around $37,000 and the humans collectively had only around $12,000.

I think I like medieval games and futuristic games equally. Medieval is all pretty with its huge forests and grandiose castles, while futuristic gives my imagination a few kicks in the junk with its ingenious technology, culture, and so on and so forth.

That's happened to me. Especially when sleeping. It's actually only happened to me once outside of bed.
From what I understand, you can't keep your leg bent. Straighten it out and keep your foot at a 90-degree angle to your calf. It may be hard to keep yourself from twitching, but you'll get the hang of it.
