It helps me sleep. Knowing I disrupted someones daily habits and made them question their personal morals and justifications, altered their perception of right and wrong and social classification, allowed them to glimpse my mind paraphrased to see as I do and take from it what they will.
For I am one with the energy that flows, dimensionless and forever falling in no direction.

Well at least you feel like you're accomplishing something. When I do something, I look for the benefits as well.

I think you're taking things into a different scope than I was arguing. Do you want me to make a graph?

And you could argue that the people who excessively broadcast it are at fault, and they are not everyone, and they do it again and again with each new fad or idea. Most people get the hint that after the initial bubble, things just aren't funny. Socially inept people don't and then I bitch about it.

I get what you mean believe it or not.  But what is your bitching going to do about it?

It's when it's done in excess that it becomes painful to see.
And when it's done in a socially unacceptable manner that makes you look like a god damn tool, it's cringe worthy.

Almost ANYTHING that has had some sort of popularity is done in excess. Even if it's a couple of years old. If none of you get this by now you're all damn tools. ALL OF YOOUUUUU. You're not special, you're human. Nothing that any of you think makes you unique or better than the next person.
