Vote for a Sniper!
Along with the OSR, a new rifle has been made and is being used at the server currently. Which one is better?



Description

Not too long ago, I hosted Runners Vs. Snipers and it was extremely fun. However, I had became busy, and the server had been set aside. But now that things aren't as busy, I've decided to host it again.
For all you that haven't played this gamemode before, it's pretty simple. The runners try to get through the course without being sniped, hiding behind obstacles, and getting to the end where you can get weapons to go kill the snipers. The snipers try to shoot the runners, and kill them before the runners win. The runners use the Sport Player type.

Snipers use the Old School Rifle, that has been modified to not shoot through walls

Maps

There are several maps. Each map has special features, and there are many other maps that are in the process of being built. If you want to build a map, you can submit it to me via steam or the Blockland forums. Build credit will always be given. (More details; scroll down)

Beta Run

This map was the very first map, with a very basic design. It isn't a super build in any way, but it serves it's purpose and has been the most popular map on the server.
This map can hold up to 6 snipers.



The Highway

This map was built by a player named IDK Man. More obstacles have been added since that picture, so I will update it soon. The map is filled with small barricades and cars that can be used to hide behind, and the cars can even be used as shields for little periods of time. It is the second most popular map, and is bigger than the Beta Map.
There is a max of 4-5 Snipers on this map, based on the amount of people in the server.



Pirate Island

This map was built by Vonski and PVT.Rocko, and hasn't been used yet. It is a different style of map, that is a combination of jumping while dodging bullets and making sure you land on the right platform. I plan on adding a few obstacles in, just so the runners have a way to hide in between rocks.
This map will probably have 4 snipers


Castle

This map was built by Chill, Cyber, and Obelisk. It is the replacement map for the Rockies, and has been very popular and is a good quality build.
Can hold around 5 snipers.



Afghan Battle Ground

This map was built by Blades. It is a medium small course, with good hiding room and nice terrain. It is, however, being used right now.



The Bridge

The map is by Killer1548, and is a long map for many runners and only a few snipers. It is fully ready and is the newest map addition to the pack.



Cargo

Cargo is a new map built by Yoke, it is long and a good map for runners to test there skills, along with 3 sniper towers that allow snipers to move around.



As new maps are built and are ready for use/testing, they will be put up onto the forum page.

Off Topic / Anyone Play Supreme Commander Forged Alliance?

Anyone Play Supreme Commander Forged Alliance? And if so, Forged Alliance Forever? I'm looking for more people to play with as I love the game and it'd be much more fun with people to play with. Not too keen on playing the randomly hosted matches by other people in Forged Alliance Forever. I posted this in off topic because I don't feel as that posts in games doesn't get anywhere the volume of views as posts do in off topic.

Drama / When building houses gets too serious..

House Building.
So I was playing at Enn's modern House Build, and Everything started going down hill. People were getting kicked, admins were testing their "tools" on other people. When I asked for drama, I didn't expect it to happen like this.




I guess I shouldn't have brought up his snake size, but stuff this is the first time i have talked to "Boki", and is this worthy of a ban? Besides the fact that others were being kicked too, I don't think I should be banned like this. Enn, if you can, unban me please. Unless you really think I deserve this.
This server also has tons of admins..its just a housebuild..

Runners V Snipers

New Gun!
This new gun is the same base model for the Old School Rifle, however re-scripted by Visolator (aka Advanced Bot) so that it dosen't shoot through walls. I changed up the color scheme to make it look a little more fancy.

Maps
There are a few maps, but part of the reason this page is up is so I can hold votes for maps. Each map has special features, and there are many other maps that are in the process of being built. Last time I hosted, the server hit its cap of 30 people, and somehow 10 of them joined and decided they wanted to build maps (Which is fine)

Suggestions & Requests / New Servers?

We need some fun servers.
I feel as if Blockland has gotten to the point where all the games aren't as fun as they used to be. No one plays at Tenzuni's servers anymore. The feed was take over by CityRPG's for a few weeks (which isn't too bad, but more than 2 city RPG servers is a little out of control. And a few other gamemodes that really don't seem to thrill people anymore. Crown's Jailbreak seemed to be a first in high population servers that I have seen in a while, but now-the point of this topic. What would you guys want to see in blockland? In the aspect of servers to play at and the game modes the server hosts.

General Discussion / Server Crash?

So I added an extension to my map, but when It is loaded and people try to join, they spawn and then lag out and crash. One of the people told me this was what there console was telling them, is it a type of brick I used? When I run my original map, it dosen't crash anyone. Only a new expansion, which isn't even large.
What it tells me-

So when I host the server as a dedicated server and load the bricks, it crashes me too.

I have tried doing many servers before, but this one is probably my favorite. It is a medium sized map, with indoor and outdoor battles enough for 16 people. There are two teams, red and blue, that both start off with equal guns but have the option to buy new ones from the store, or even from a random weapon box. Rounds last 7 minutes.

Issues
Spawnkilling will always be a pain in the ass, but there are little things added in to give a team an advantage at their own spawn.
Some people don't like weapon shops, but some do..

How do you get the spawn to change on each round? Like if i had a dodgeball, a soccer, and a football area, how would i get it to swap to each area after each round?

Help / Zombies

So I was wondering, are there any working zombie mods? Because I have Left For Block, but that dosent work as every minigame you have to build a spawn a respawn the zombies. ZAPT works, but not very well. It makes it that you have to create the mini game and then create the zombies, but it works after every minigame reset. Is there any zombie mod the actually works with minimal glitches or is what ever version of blockland we are on now wont allow mods like that

Welcome! This is my Blockland server of the BF3 map Noshar Cbrown towns. It was just recently built by me and Hoodbrother, and is finally ready to be opened for beta! It has not been completely finished, so at the moment it is only a team deathmatch. It will soon become a game that has rounds from conquest to rush. There are two teams, America and Russia. Both have classes that you can choose weapons from when spawning in your teams base. There are all the classes, with recon, engineer, assault, and support. There are also secondaries and extra weapons like grenades, etc. I am using slayer to run the mini game. The server will start running no later than this weekend.EDIT Not until Christmas. The vehicles here are just two tanks, but helicopters will be added after the aircraft carrier is built

Modification Help / Fire mod

Hello there everyone. I was willing to start making addons for the fire mod,(like more water coming from tubes stuff like that) and I am going to need some help. I might be a modeler (if I get help) and I will be for sure a scripter. The link for the fire fighting mod will be given to the workers before the realese. I don't need beta testers, the workers will be it. And maybe a few more beta testers, But do not ask to be a tester now. Wait till stuff is done. Also, most might hate fire mod, or they just want something added to it. If anyone wants to do it, feel free. (I wiill pm you the link.) The things that wil or might be made:

Suggestions & Requests / Nasa Space Shuttle

Hi there everyone. You see, I was wondering if someone could make a space shuttle, with SRBs (Solid Rocket Bosters) and the extrnal gas tank. I don't have to post a picture, becasue you can google it and most of you should now how one looks. Also, make sure there is a orbiter on it and try to make it stand up straight from the "launch pad". Thanks for whoever can make this!
