Ok so here is the scenario:
I have 2 computers in the house, each running off of the same connection. My main computer is hooked up from my router using an ethernet cable. My second computer is wirelessly connected using a USB adapter. Both computer are connected to the same exact router, and use the same internet connection, from the same host.
I forwarded ports on my wireless computer using ipconfig and
http://blockland.us/portforwardI can host a server fine, and people can join.
However, on my lan computer, if I make a server while my brother has a server up on the wireless computer, when people try to join my server, they join his instead.
How does this happen? I am not sure. I have two different IP addresses for each computer, but I think the problem has something to do with the default gateway, since they are the same on each computer.
Basically, my question is:
How can I make it so that we can both be hosting our own server and people can join either server, instead of just the server that is running from the wireless computer.
Additional details:
*We each have our own blockland key
*The router version is a Link Sys E2000
*Lan computer is running Windows XP
*Wireless computer is running windows 7
I cannot figure this one out, if someone could please, much help would be appreciated.
Thanks
