There's a plugin for Blender that allows you to import (and export) DTS, as well as DSQ (for animations)
https://github.com/qoh/io_scene_dts
Thanks, sheesh I was using the wrong version

Out of all games Ive owned, I gotta say BL is the best game ever by far

While the community has its obvious flaws, receiving support after posting a gallery topic was an amazing feeling, and in-game the community is pretty cool imo

17/20 of my steam friends are from BL, and I still have small talks with them. My best online friend is from BL

BL made me addicted to games, and while it's a hobby and I don't have any special skills, it has definitely helped me with socializing, growing up as a person, being creative

While most of you may not know who I am, I will instantly recognize most of you by mere username

Im also fairly new when it comes to PC, but Im gonna place my rig as a starting point, and whether you like it or not, you can start somewhere

The price for me, due to import taxes and other stuff, went up to 1100 usd, but if you live in the USA, you can probably get a 600-800 usd price
GPU: Asus dual gtx 1060 6GB (no OC)
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2600 (auto OC, where the base clocks are 3.4Ghz, but my PC sometimes automatically pushes it up to 3.6)
MOBO: Asus B450F
Memory: 16GB 3000Mhz DDR4
PSU: CX550 semimodular

My games:
-Battlefront 2 (2017), lowest settings, 1440p, 90-100 FPS
-Battlefield V, lowest settings, 1440p, 70-100 FPS
-Minecraft (with shaders on), 1440p, 100 FPS
-Fallout 76, lowest settings, 30-60 FPS
-Metro 2033 Redux, very high settings, 100 FPS

Now my recommendations:
GPU: If you can get more money, go for 6 GB vram at least, really helps on games
CPU: Intel is better for gaming, but also a bit more expensive, while AMD offers good performance, and is cheaper, also AMD stock cpu fans rock
Memory: You can game with 8GB of ram, but I went for 16 for the extra margin. 3200 Mhz is an excellent speed for the price, but 2666 will do fine
MOBO: Make sure your mobo can support your ram speed, and that the CPU socket supports your CPU (as Intel or AMD), I don't really know what else to say
PSU: I got the corsair CXM series, which if you look into, you MUST get the gray label ones, the past generation of green label sucks

As for monitor, there's 3 main types of panels
-IPS: Amazing colors, but bad blacks, expensive
-VA: Pretty good colors and amazing blacks, cheaper than IPS
-TN: Bad colors, good contrast, cheapest

There's resolution of course, I'd say 1080p is the most common. However, once you go 1440p, you won't go back to 1080p (unless its performance related)
If you want to take the most out of your PC, go for a high refresh rate, aka Hz, aka monitor FPS. 60 is a good start, however, once you go 100, you won't go back (again)
Freesync, or Gsync are optional, but if you get it, you won't go back (yet again)

Like I said, Im also somewhat new to PC gaming, so if I messed something up, someone correct me
But yea, if you got more questions related to my PC or anything, go ahead

so what about the situation where if her child would already be born and she brought him along, but then jumped behind the child as soon as he pulled a gun in self defense, do you think he should legally be able to unload into this random bystander to hit the lady? shouldn't they both be charged?
If the woman backs off, by jumping behind her child, that could no longer be considered an attack, hence self defense would not apply here, and shooting would be murder/assault/whatever

If the woman continues the attack, even with her child, she's responsible for what happens

I don't know the Alabama laws, so I'm just speculating

Sounds like Tarkov is based around looting, losing, and grinding.
Ive seen gameplays, but youtubers that gotta make content, they only show the good parts and skip the terrible ones

Sad to see it was taken out of Squad but Squad is already a dumpster fire when it comes to optimization, I never knew they had it to begin with.
Yea, a bit sad Squad can't implement it. Here's an article about it: http://forums.joinsquad.com/topic/1873-scope-implementation-discussion/

Now on Tarkov
Ever since it released, I've been thinking of picking it up, but I'm unsure of the performance, assuming CQ combat would be fast as hell
Then again, I know this is not battle royale, but is it one of those games where you run for half an hour only to be insta-killed by what you'd call a Gen4 guy?
Also how bad is the grinding?

honestly surprised its not standard in modern shooters. squad is understandable as its a vr game and needs very high optimization to be playable in vr. anything else though really doesnt have much of an excuse
I did a bit of research.

Squad is not a VR game, its a normal fps, and dual render scope was implemented, but the performance was terrible, so it was taken out of the game, hence why its non-existent in today's Squad

From what I gathered and understood, the reason why is dual render scope so performance intensive is due to the PIP (picture in picture) system, basically displaying 2 cameras in the game. The performance goes on par with the engine, I assume Insurgency has no problem due to its old engine, and small maps to render. Squad on the other hand, as example, has maps as big a 4km, so in a way, you'd be displaying the map twice.

Its a weird feeling, I once randomly woke up at night; I had no reason to, no noise, wasnt cold, nor hot
I just woke up, looked at the window, and oh boy, a goddamn roosterroach

I had no idea it was there, dunno how I managed to wake up in the right moment

I'm not even sure why these big names are going to EG exclusives, sure they get 85 percent rather than 70, but its a small platform that 99 percent of users only use for Fortnite. What's more profitable, 85 percent of a grape or 70 percent of a watermelon?
I like to think the companies were aware of the grape and watermelon effect, but I assume the money received from EG compensated the potential losses

Id say a bunch of people will probably buy the game on EG store, and rebuy it later on steam, just for accesibility, if this becomes reality, the companies win twice

I am also tired of buncha games I own, even multiplayer games that usually keep me entertained for years
Single player games are amazing, but after Ive beaten them, I never touch them again in like a year

For me, the best way to keep me entertained is by playing games where you have to communicate with others, like Squad
People can be really interesting, and every new match I play, its like a whole new experience
