For Honor is a competitive third-person melee fighting game mixing speed, strategy, and team play with visceral close range combat in multiplayer action. Experience the chaos, fury, and brutality of battle where you and your friends cut a bloody trail of carnage as brutal Vikings, deadly Knights, and cold-blooded Samurai.

The innovative Art of Battle system lets you feel the power of every strike, the strength of every impact, and the weight of the weapon in your hand. It is meant to deliver a feeling of really dueling without the sacrifice of accessibility and simplicity. The system was built using motion capture by real martial artists and professional stuntmen to give the battles realism not otherwise possible. Players can easily switch between three different stances in order to block an attack or strike an enemy. Watching the enemy closely to see which stance they switch to is key to defense and offense. This give the players a chance to plan their next move and ideally the next few as well. Players can also shift stances mid-swing and feint, in an attempt to trick opponents into shifting their guard.

There are three playable factions in For Honor and each one presents the story from their own point-of-view. Play through each one for a completely unique experience. The For Honor Story Campaign mode can be played solo or in 2 player co-op. Players will be thrust into the war raging with the other two factions. There is also a competitive multiplayer online mode that pits players against each other.

HEROES

The playable warriors of For Honor are battle-hardened elite soldiers. Each play specialized roles in their respective factions and all are highly skilled, deadly foes. Mastering each heroes’ unique fighting styles is highly rewarding and will grant you a significant edge when facing your opponents in For Honor’s novel game modes. Learn the movesets of your favorite heroes to dominate the battlefield.

POST-RELEASE HEROES

For Honor cycles in Seasons, each lasting for 10 weeks. At the end of each Season, a winner of the faction war is established, and two new heroes are announced as well as new maps, gear, and any other new gameplay/content. The second season introduced the Centurion and the Shinobi, while the third season will be introducing the Highlander and the Gladiator.

fr they are trying to lock me in a 600+ day contract right now when i tried to cancel our services. ive had them for two months, and was originally told the package i got did not include a contract by multiple different individuals in their customer service. and was told there would be no cancellation fee. now, when im telling them i want to cancel, they tell me im locked in a contract because of a amazon giftcard that they offer you when you sign up. i didnt even use/activate the card, but im still apparently under contract. to cancel, i have to pay $200. i have to wait until next month until i can dispute any charges too.

they also gave us an inaccurate quote when we signed up (told us $40 a month, actually costs $60), and tried to slam me with random charges monthly. for starters, they included the "security plus" bundle in my package, which i specifically requested not to have (what the forget even is security plus bundle real talk). also when i had a tech come replace our faulty router, they tried to charge me $85 for his time here when i was told it would cost nothing.

tl;dr forget frontier ya'll fr some hoes

Games / Northgard: Survival RTS - winter is coming

After years of tireless explorations, brave Vikings have discovered a new land filled with mystery, danger and riches: Northgard.
The boldest Northmen have set sail to explore and conquer these new shores, bring fame to their Clan and write history through conquest, trading, or devotion to the Gods.
That is, if they can survive the dire wolves and undead warriors roaming the land, befriend or defeat the giants, and survive the harshest winters ever witnessed in the North

Northgard is an RTS game with very original elements brought in. Basebuilding is made more robust and involved by utilizing "tiles" that each limit the amount of buildings a player can place there. A survival aspect is put into play, requiring the player to stock up on resources to survive winters, and weather random events that happen throughout the year. Other features include:

- Choose from different clans each with their own perks and advantages
- Manage settler happiness to ensure growth
- Simple but tactical combat system
- Varying win conditions from forging an ancient sword, to recieveing the four blessings from the gods, to complete domination

so im making a new server and am looking for any pirate (or from that time period) related add-ons that could potentially be helpful. props, weapons, vehicles, ect. also, if you ever played on one of gravity cats old servers (pretty sure it was him), he had a vehicle that was an airship with like two turrets on it. was this ever released? i searched but couldn't find it

i have always hated the words "daddy" and "mommy" even when i was a kid. i only ever called my parents "mom and dad".
aside from that, it's just gross to me cause i've never associated "dad" with any image other than an unappealing guy in new balance shoes who is conservative christian and has no hobbies other than beer, sports, and/or grilling steak

ive yet to do the 'wargame' on that challenge site yet, but that may reveal something idk. theres nothing else that could be a clue on the website the original crypt comes from, the text is just a paragraph in the page source and thats it.

my guess is that the water cactus line might be a key for decrypting the rest of the text, but not sure how

dont even pay attention to my most played, i havent touched tf2 or garrys mod in a long time
things i like:
- rpgs/adventure
- mmorpgs but i havent found one ive been able to get into for a long time. currently trying tera but ehhh
- space
- swords
- action games but its gonna have to be good because ive played so many
- sandbox
- survival (not rust or the forest)
- strategy games (rts, games like rimworld ect)

things i dont like:
- racing games thats loving pusillanimous individual stuff if you suggest one im reporting you
- any 2d indie stuff games. i dont care if it won goty its still garbage and im not wasting money
- games that my laptop cant run im loving poor
- anime, this is a no weeb zone

other games i have played recently that arent there:
- overwatch
- for honor
- bitches
- a lot of console games that i dont feel like listing
- blockland
- STEllaris

im open to any suggestions, any game that takes a lot of time is dope (strategy/mmorpg/rpg). no price ceiling idc if its $200 but it better be good

for starters im new to linux so correct me on anything

so im running a virtual machine (windows 10) on a bridged network (using virtualbox) on a ubuntu host. the VM needs to not accept ANY inbound connections (besides its connection with the host), but still complete outbound connections. the host runs a script that does malware brown townysis using the guest (VM) as a sandbox enviroment, and it uses different libraries that do packet sniffing and network brown townysis so i want the guest to still have limited access to the internet, but i dont want it do be able to accept inbound connections so as not to corrupt the network/host.

this is what ive done so far using iptables to try and achieve this (0.0.0.0 is the ip address of the guest, edited out here):

first off i just want to say im not trying to start beef with this topic, i know we got people on both extremes of the spectrum. but im just interested in this and want to hear what ya'll have to say.


trans people have been in the new a lot lately, especially with all this bathroom discussion going around. a lot of people still aren't accepting of it, which isn't surprising because its such a foreign concept. the argument that comes up a lot on the opposing side is that: being transloveual is a mental disability. point of discussion im making is: if it is, why is this a problem, and why shouldn't it be accepted/accommodated?

ive spoke with trans people before, and theyve explained their difficulties with identifying as a different gender to me. for them, its extremely difficult and not just a matter of "damn i want some long hair give me my own bathroom". one girl (was a dude, went to a girl) grew up in a small town that was pretty conservative and religious for the most part, and gays/trans weren't really accepted. she grew up in this constant state of feeling out of place and it was just an extreme burden for her to go about her life being a guy. she couldn't connect as well with other guys, felt extremely uncomfortable when it came to dating, and as a whole, her entire childhood was just mentally overbearing. she fell into deep depression as a result, ended up getting perscribed pills (which she hated because it didn't really fix her issue) that she took up until she made a transition. she didn't get surgery or hormones or anything because she already looks kindve feminine.

the way this girl explains her situation just makes it sound like a very legitimate mental disability. while genetically yeah, shes a guy, mentally she just couldn't picture herself living her life out as a guy. for her, it wasnt just a choice because being a girl seemed cooler, it was an actual problem she had to deal with every day.

now are there people that just want to be trans for fun or something? yes, and i think thats not something that should be accommodated in any way, drag queens dont deserve any special treatment. but for people who legitimately have this issue? yes, classify it as a mental disability, and provide them with avenues for treatment. whether that be: trying to "treat" it (psychiatrist or something), or getting a surgery/hormones. doesnt have to be government funded or anything, but their shouldn't be so much animosity held towards someone because of something they can't change. i see it in the same light as depression

i know theres still a lot of other points that could be brought up. its not such a black and white situation, but i guess my opinion on it is: be more open minded in general, and dont be so quick to judge people so harshly.


also i havent looked anything up regarding whether or not it is classified as a mental disability, correct me on anything

first off, look at this line up. cant think of a better way to spend that week after the semester ends, and im forgetin hype. i considered going last year, but the lineup was p dry. im going to be flying down on the 4th with one of my friends, and we'll most likely stay in a hotel near bayfront park until the 9th.

anyone else going to be attending? im most excited for xxxtentacion, a$ap, flatbush, mick jenkins, underachievers, and migos. anyone live in miami and have any suggestions for good places to check out/eat/ect? ive never been to florida so any info would be appreciated!
