Collisions wont happen like that because generally people who can drive are not handicapped and don't just pull into another lane when they see a car coming. Motorbikes have the right away though. They're still vehicles, and trust me, driving close into the side of the road is loving dangerous. They have as much right as a car does. (I will be a future motorbiker, or at least want to) :D
