Well I'd sure as hell hope that people like Zalot aren't offering advice.

All the 'hotlines' and all the 'help' I've ever gotten was literally just "get over it" with kinder wording. People try to get help, I've seen it, I've done it, and they get turned away with exactly what they don't want to hear.

Well I mean what do you want? Help is there but the majority of it is on you, people cant just make depression go away. You do have to get over it, however you do it is up to you. Killing yourself is just the worst option.

Yeah, I'm sure the rape victims and the bullied kids and the kids who get beat by their parents could just pretend their problems away. I'm sure they can just 'think' it didn't happen, right? You're just another forgetin' kid who thinks he's got it all figured out and has never actually experienced any real adversity in his life.

Nobody cares about the depressed kid until he's already dead, because nobody gives enough of a forget to ask or read into it. The depressed people always smile the brightest. By the time anyone cares, he's already dead, and then he gets called a coward for doing it.

Depression is often described as trying to walk against flowing rapids, with people on the sides walking up the hill telling you to just 'get out', trying to stay above the water when it'd be so much easier to just get sucked under.

So you'll sit there and try to justify your sick twisted agenda that suicidal people are just insane and can easily not be depressed, when you've never loving been depressed before in your life. Excuse me if I don't take depression advice from someone who's never had to go through it.

People can always find solace from depression, the problem is so many people WANT to stay depressed. Nobody cares about that depressed kid that smiles the brightest because how are they supposed to know hes depressed? HE can get help, but he can also choose not to and let his own depressing thoughts get to him. Talking to someone is not trying to achieve the impossible.

See you say stuff like "in a crappy life", when you obviously have no idea how "crappy" a life can be. I wouldn't put it past you, I'm sure you're a privileged kid who lives in a nice house with happily married parents where you have lots of free-time to play GTAV in the afternoon.

Believe it or not, people have problems. Not everyone knows how to seek help, and not everyone has help to go to. There's more than one motive for Self Delete.

People have problems, there are solutions. People that want to kill themselves usually do have mental problems, maybe not insane like zealot is saying but still. There are very few situations where people can't find help for wanting to kill themselves, or wanting to kill themselves is completely justified and probably the best solution.

People can be in stuff situations, nearly everyone is sometimes. Killing yourself to escape them is selfish.

Who cares if it's illegal? If you commit Self Delete it's not like you're gonna be prosecuted, and the only way you'd be completely unable to is if you were in a coma really, so there would be no point in doing so.

attempting Self Delete is still illegal
i guess its just to discourage people committing Self Delete. i mean if you think about it, how many people would willingly kill themselves because they had a horrible disease as apposed to people just killing themselves out of depression.
