Modification Help / Re: Making zombies

Look at vehicle_horse/server.cs  look for TSShapeConstructor, it's right at the top of the file. Under that are all the animations for the player datablock.

Suggestions & Requests / Re: Path bricks
« on: September 10, 2009, 09:13:30 PM »
I was thinking of doing something similar to this in a later version of zombies, it'd be pretty simple though.

Basically a zombie/bot acts normal until it comes across one of these nodes, goes to it, when it reaches the node, it then goes in the direction specified by the arrow, then looks for another node, if none is found it just starts randomly walking again.

Not sure when this will come since I have a lot of ideas for zombies, and I have some other things to work on at the moment.

Suggestions & Requests / Re: Moving platforms from v0002 but in reatail!
« on: September 09, 2009, 10:47:03 PM »
You could do it the exact way that we did in old versions, the only change is that you can't move bricks like that, so it'd have to be a separate platform made out of a dts shape.

@Rughugger,

Don't worry too much I just got over a virus that had the exact symptoms that you described, it passed in 3 or 4 days.

on topic: this illness actually gave me time to finish up the zombie update, so it actually didn't ruin my fun.

The why in my nomination for rotondo was an inside joke from when rot actually hosted a pirate dm in his server.

Cool shark really is too cool for people to handle.

I for one am pretty terrified, the thought of what a minor inconvenience they could cause us truly scares the living pants off me.

I'm going to go hide behind a rock for a few hours.

Items marked with a ' :cookie: ' are designated as our favorite and most recommended tool in a given category. These tools often have the best support available for the Torque engine, and can be considered superior to the other tools in the category. Of course, you will probably want to try everything to see what works best for your individual needs.

It's important that everyone helps contribute to this list, because we all benefit as a result. Right now we're looking for tutorials especially, video is even better. Post your links, and I'll add them in right away!
