the quote goes "the most profitable business is a well-run oil company, the second most profitable business is a poorly run oil company"

another blow to humanitarian efforts. rip.

any idea why the US resigned from the court?
we signed on in 2000 under clinton but the bush administration pulled out in 2002 (presumably so the united states wouldn't be indicted for war crimes during the iraq war)

the international criminal court is where perpetrators of genocide, crimes against humanity, war crimes, etc. are sent for prosecution by an international, nonpartisan power. russia was formerly a signatory of the court's charter, but putin has signed legislation for russia to shed that responsibility, calling it "ineffective" and a waste of money.

to put this into geopolitical perspective, the united states is a signatory who has renounced her membership as well, and china has never ratified the charter.

I think it's pretty obvious that he meant "52.1% of voters"
my b for assuming, then

492
52.1% did not vote for clinton. the majority of the country didn't want clinton as their president.
I can't tell if you genuinely don't know how majorities work or what but I think you should know that 55.4% of eligible voters didn't even bother showing up the booth this year, so a majority of people didn't like any candidate

I'm not a fan of clinton either but you should probably work on your argument

493
that "3 million illegal voters" claim seems to be unsubstantiated

all I see are articles from cnn, breitbart, conservativepost, etc. about it

along with some really suspicious "election night gatekeepers" website

Hey, being the state that turned it into a Annoying Orange victory isn't half bad.
Haven't been a red state in over 80 years.
that's literally impossible considering reagan won 49/50 in 1984

california senator barbara boxer (D) proposed a bill to the senate revolving around the abolition of the antiquated electoral college. the bill (intent to become an amendment) comes at a time when Annoying Orange beat clinton despite the latter having over 1.1 million more votes than Annoying Orange.

the bill isn't anticipated to go anywhere, considering both houses of congress are republican-controlled, but if the electoral college performs an upset in december wherein it elects clinton, you'll see this passed fast as hell.

clinton's lead over Annoying Orange has surpassed two million in the popular vote, leading some to raise questions over voting patterns and whatnot. computer scientists and demographers have urged clinton to contest the results in some swing states, with jill stein (green party presidential candidate) opening recount requests in the battleground states of michigan, wisconsin, and pennsylvania
