Basically the store has these two different jobs.

A unpacking / deliveries receiving job
An indoor stocking job

Both jobs had both men and women in them
But the indoor job had most of the women

The indoor job made less, so they're suing
Companies apparently aren't allowed to choose what to pay their workers anymore, it's sad

It's pretty long but summarizes everything from SJWs to the national socialists to Republicans and Gawker and how such things are possible.

Off Topic / So my roommate got busted for smoking the dank ganja
« on: October 23, 2014, 12:12:15 PM »
So there was an armed robbery in the room below mine last night. Two black men with hoodies walked into an unlocked dorm and woke up the sleeping person inside, then robbed him at gunpoint. We all got an email about it last night.

So naturally the police presence was a bit higher than usual. As I was leaving to catch the bus I passed an officer on my way out the door, and as I was going down the stairs I heard him talking to my roommate. Eventually he asked if I lived in the dorm too. So I decided to turn around and come back and say "I'm still here, yeah I live here."

Turns out they were able to smell weed from the hall. My roommate at first said he didn't have anything. The officer basically said "yeh okay everyone lies at first" so he produced a joint. After the officers like "yeh no you have more" he produced a container with what the officer said was a few grams. He took both our licenses and recording our ids, then asked for our phone numbers. Basically, my roommate said I didn't do anything or have anything, I told the officer he was free to search all my stuff, he eventually let me go to my class, but I can only assume my roommates being arrested right now.

Kinda wondering if anything's gonna happen to me now though. I don't know how possession works but I don't smoke (cause I'm not a degenerate, bby) and didn't know he had it, so hopefully I'll be okay.

Off Topic / How can I disable my middle mouse button entirerly?
« on: October 16, 2014, 11:10:29 AM »
I think my mouse is starting to go on me, pressing just about any button has a chance of all triggering the middle button, which can lead to some *very* frustrating results. The best idea I can think of right now is just trying to stop the middle mouse button from being recognized completely. If I could figure out how to safely open it and maybe clean it out, I would, but there's no way to open this thing. It's a Logitech G700 by the way, and I even have the software installed.

Sometimes they're even smaller but '6 inch' subs still cost like $6. stuff's crazy. Seriously, doesn't subway have whole footlongs for $5?

Bowl of coffee didn't cost me anything cause I found it. Kinda tastes like a paper bowl now though.

800 to 1800 revolutions per minute. I wasn't sure if this would be better just posted in the Anime thread or not.

This really old buzzfeed article about Natalia Poklonskaya has some pretty amusing comments.

Quote from: a comment
I remember this sort of discrimination very well in my younger days. This guy is like a lot of them who project their own BS onto women. She doesn't look 'nervous' but many men have made the mistake of hoping that is the case with women to validate their own limited views of reality.
I remember an incident, years ago, when I'd just finished my parachute training in the army and was then a paratrooper. I'd just come back from an overseas assignment in South Korea and had been stationed for a year in a camp which was located 7 miles, as the crow flies, from the DMZ and North Korea. I was also an expert rifleman. I'd just gotten back to the US and had gone straight into jump school (parachute training and learning how to jump from airplanes) and then had to travel to my next duty station which was in another state. I was also a consummate drunk at the time. I was known, very much for 'not suffering fools gladly'.
I had stopped in this po-dunk town for the night and booked into a hotel. I went down to the hotel bar to waste the evening. I was sitting at the bar just having a chat with the bartender when some starfish appears next to me and says, 'you look like a lost little girl'. I couldn't believe my ears and to this day, still have a hard time processing it. What kind of idiot walks up to a stranger and says that? He got a well deserved surprise and lesson when a loud, booming voice which was honed from months of shouting across parade fields at troops answered him with: 'REALLY?! I'M PRETTY SURE I KNOW EXACTLY WHERE I AM. YOU, ON THE OTHER HAND, LOOK LIKE YOU DON'T KNOW YOUR ASS FROM A HOLE IN THE GROUND!!'
Nope, didn't suffer fools and the way I have always seen it is if you see a woman sitting in a bar minding her own business, then she deserves the same respect for her privacy that you'd give an old man sitting there. Most do not realise just how much a woman's privacy is invaded and not respected by pathetic individuals like the guy who approached me in that bar. Or, these clowns making fun of this woman who holds a very high position in government.
These numbskulls can spend all the time they want attempting to turn that soldier into their little fantasy but make no mistake, she didn't get up to that rank and position by being 'nervous' or messing about with silly boys. That simpleton making an attempt at degrading her with: 'she should be a stripper or work in McDonald's' is especially embarrassing when you imagine that he is actually saying that to someone like Oliver North or The US Attorney General, Eric Holder. Only a fool would let their hormones and emotions think for them like that imbecile has done. Would he say that about the US Attorney General? No, he would not.
And for what it's worth, when I did my jump training with Navy Seals, Rangers, Special Forces and Marines, I never got any grief from them. It was always the mediocre, insecure men who'd run their mouths. Just remember that if you hear loveism in your environment. It's not about her, it's about HIS insecurities. Always is the case with no exceptions.
Shame on all of those who are that stupid not to take her position seriously. They will when they have troops sitting on their doorstep! Very dangerous game, indeed.
Dumbasses.

I just felt like sharing this with someone.

So the country which used to own half the world can't even keep it's own home Island together. It's pretty sad really, someone should put the UK out of its misery.

Quote from: http://www.theguardian.com/politics/2014/sep/09/scottish-independence-tns-poll-1-per-cent-gap-yes-no
Another poll released on Sunday by Panelbase for the pro-independence campaign Yes Scotland found the no vote was still in the lead, at 52% compared with 48% for yes, excluding the undecided.

Yes Scotland responded cautiously, saying: "Yes has the big momentum – with support growing particularly strongly among Labour voters and women – but we still have work to do if we are to win."

Denis Canavan, the chairman of Yes Scotland's advisory board and former Labour MP, told a rally in his hometown of Cowdenbeath: "We are now on the very cusp of making history – a bold and confident new Scotland, run by the people of Scotland and built on enduring principles of equality, fairness and social justice.

So far all the results of votes seem to be just about tied.
What do you think, BLF?

English

The North Wind and the Sun were disputing which was the stronger, when a traveler came along wrapped in a warm cloak.
They agreed that the one who first succeeded in making the traveler take his cloak off should be considered stronger than the other.
Then the North Wind blew as hard as he could, but the more he blew the more closely did the traveler fold his cloak around him;
and at last the North Wind gave up the attempt. Then the Sun shined out warmly, and immediately the traveler took off his cloak.
And so the North Wind was obliged to confess that the Sun was the stronger of the two.

You should probably look though these for code with my BL_ID in it, no guarantees there aren't debug functions in either of these.
I'm releasing these (among other things to come soon) because people seem to dislike private add-ons and because these are functional but I don't need them anymore.
