I did not say anywhere that it was A-okay for the Israeli's to take over the land. I am not denying that originally, it was Palestinian land (which by the way was underdeveloped when the Palestinians were there and the British took care of everything). The Israeli's did in fact steal the land from the Palestinian, but if we are going to play the brown townogy game here, so be it. Many countries were taken over by other cultures and/or peoples. Several. Including New Zealand (formally inhabited by the Maori peoples, and taken by the British), Canada (formally inhabited by the Metis, First Nation peoples, and the Inuit and taken by the French, and then the British), Australia (formally inhabited by the Aboriginal People of Australia and taken by the British), and the United States of America (formally inhabited with Native Americans and taken by the British). What is your point?There's a difference between:
I know right, if the land was necessitous to them then over 80% would be used, and quite frankly I don't even think 8% of it is. Israel was owned by the Palestinians before but if we are going to go back in ancient times then it was the Jews (which I obviously don't go by, but you get the point). I still think that Israel is Palestinian land, but we cant do anything about it. Many wars were fought and Israel won. Every group really is entitled to their own land, that is why we have the U.N (United Nations), and that is the reason why they approved of the State of Israel's creation.
"Europe should be owned by Italy because ancient Rome" or "america should go back to the Indians"
and something like
"my grandfather still remembers when this land belonged to his people, he doesn't want to have to move again".
