Actually, it's the opposite. If you post your saves in gallery and let people download them, it gives off an opposite effect because everyone can easily identify it as yours, and you can use the thread as proof that you built it.

Yeah, people need to share their stuff more.

I've heard good things about NFO for all-around performance. But I must say that in my opinion, http://linode.com has the absolute best in terms of network speeds. I've been hosting with them and they really aren't kidding about their advertised speeds.
